In short: I WANT A GALLARDO!
What a sound, what a car....damn, I always loved Lamborghini's, but this one is amazing.
I liked this episode, it had a bit of everything. Better then the last ones.

The great thing about TG is you can keep a look out for cute girls.

At the left.

This girl seems to be quite shy, especially the way she looks down and away when Jeremy seems to turn back to look at her. I love shy girls~ images/smilies/twisted.gif

edit: epp_b: it seems to be something wrong with the image hoster.

Enjoyed the episode. Good to see more than half the show dedicated to reviews and not just funny films. The kit car challenge was fun; almost wish they'd let us see more of just how the boys got on for 8 hours putting that together. JC keeping the washers in his pockets makes me wonder if they went back and rebuilt the car after the show.

I agree: we need to see the cool wall.

Gallardo looked/sounded great but while JC might feel it his favorite supercar, I still stand behind the McLaren SLR. I've been lucky enough to hear one in person and I stand by the belief that is the best sounding engine ever produced.

Here's more of those parkour/freerunning vids. Plenty of them on the net. These are the popular ones.

The one parkour guy was deffinately better than the other one...the guy in the white shirt who was doing the head-first flipping swandives out 2nd story windows and doing the handstand on the Liver Building...damn...the other guy just ran around the trash cans White-shirt-guy leapt over. They barely showed his face...

Well, Lambo is owned by VW/Audi, and VW has a chilled glove box, and the Gallardo reusues HVAC controls from an A8, so you never know...

I dunno, I drove both the Gallardo and an F430... Ferrari has changed how I view cars.

pretty good ep, but even though i knew the caterham ep is kinda scripted, i thought the stig would win. i mean when have the presenters actually completed a "how hard can it be" challenge. i thought it was nice the guys won for once.

im also beginning to feel the guys are purposely provoking evryone, lets see on this weeks show it was insulting the caravaners, making fun of jesus and muslims again, encouraging intercity youths to jump off carparks, arnold by coogen, more trouble with the law, and on and on... its like the guys want the show to go off the BBC in a great fireball where they attack every institution in the land. good next week its van tailgating!

Believe it or not, it's already been done. The 80s Chrysler minivans in AWD trim had a Mitsibuishi motor, turbo, and drivetrain taken from the Eclipse (before they de-balled it), all the Eclipse after-market power mods worked on it images/smilies/smile.gif

That Lambo with its top down looks wicked!!!! Loved it.

I'm pleased to see flashes of old TG style back in this episode.

The Lambo segment was, at my opinion, one of the best reviews of cars ever! I couldn't stop laughing.

And don't forget that crazy Renault Espace F1 from the mid 1990s (though that one sadly was a concept car only)

I don't think the Stig's "arrest" was scripted, as such. I agree that the Stig probably genuinely did get pulled over for speeding (you'd kind of expect him to), and the crew asked if they could stage an arrest scene because they would need an excuse that would look good on tv. I also don't believe it is the same policeman from the caravan segment. You can barely see his face at all, and there's no reason why there can't be more than one overweight copper in the whole of the UK, is there? Plus, he had a very obvious Scottish accent, and I hardly think they'd drag the same guy across the country to appear again, not least because it would be so obvious and deliberate-looking. Also, I believe the penalty for impersonating a policeman is nothing compared to that handed down for impersonating a Scotsman.

but why would they purposely darken his face out like that? the other cops face wasn't like that, and it wasn't the position he was standing in either because he was moving around when the stig entered the cop car and the shadow remained. also, i don't know any scotsman, but that accent sounded so exaggerated i was laughing.
