That was always going to happen after nine seasons. Bits of tweaking here and there always give the show a more 'sorted' feel.

I loved the flying scaled-down Robin. I would love to have one to goof around RC clubs images/smilies/tongue.gif

Yeah, I noticed that. Although I suppose that wasn't exactly talking about it directly, and they were just messing around...

Why shouldn't they talk about it? He lived through the accident and made a full recovery! It's not a bad thing (apart from the money spent on the repairs and medical bills), and it was hammond himself who commented on the crash once.

I never said they shouldn't talk about it, I seriously respect the guy. Just commenting on the fact that although they said they wouldn't talk about it again they did. Just an observation, not a criticism.

Well, i was asking why they said they wouldn't talk about it. Just seems rubbish.

Perhaps Hammond just didn't want to go into details on it. It was pretty traumatic!

I was heartbroken when it crashed. Such a sad end to what looked like a promising mission. I didn't laugh after that.

Those first few seconds of the Brabus review with the rotating shot and a Man on Fire score is one of the best parts I have EVER seen. I almost cried.

i am a bit surprized from this thread though... no one except one (a couple of pages back) has only mentioned about the Melling Hellcat. I mean yep, I liked the porsche and the Brabus, and the crash as well, but what kept my mind bz all the time was abt the next fastest car JC mentioned abt. Whats with this car? when probably will it be officially released? Any news?

I liked the 911 review but tg should always do their reviews in the day. The Reliant Orbiter was brilliant. the brabus sl was pretty bad though, i don't see the point of reviewing cars that people probably wont buy. jc should have driven a brabus SLR instead.

A possible reason for the Reliant exploding... The presenters mentioned that the site was littered with unexploded bombs. The crash surely set one off, and, unlucky for the shuttle, it must have hit a really big bomb.

Or if you look closely, you see that the scene changes JUST as it blows up and there's no trace of the craft in the explosion, plus the fireball was far too big for a landmine explosion, indicating it was just a petrol bomb for the sake of visual effect.

Naah - that was a posed photo for a very special reason. I have Asperger's Syndrome, and wanted to conquer my fear of making eye contact with him after getting the call and nearly passing out with sheer terror knowing what I'd have to do.

Jeremy's is the scariest face I have ever known in my life and I wanted the photo of us not to be a conventional one standing side by side, but one of me making eye contact with him! I was actually sick with nerves in the Dunsfold carpark! However, I managed it, survived and felt bloody euphoric afterwards. So much so that when I got back home I ran up the hallway and bear-hugged my mother!

Since the photo and the conquest, my eye contact is almost normal, and it's taken me to a new level of socialising ability. It took a lot of effort, calming, anxiety, nerves and eye contact practice beforehand but it was all worth it.

Thanks, Jezza! images/smilies/thumbsup.gif
