That's true. Personally, I love the new Passat, it's a truely great car, feels great, great comfort and good build quality.

But still, not very exciting.

who would've thought that for all of the insane cars the Stig has driven (Renault's F1 car, Aston DBR-9 Le Mans entry, the Koenigseggeggneggessegggeggg CCX) the one that knocks him off his seat is a tractor...

The tractors segment was overdone all right! The dynamiting to finish the ploughing just made me groan. I much prefer it when the challenges aren't so patently contrived. Still I would never miss an epsiode even if we occasionally get a dud moment.

someone mentioned that hamster looks (little) older than in tractor-footage, i noticed it too, his face looks little skinnier nowadays. i guess the crash and medical treatment leaved a little "mark" on him. good episode thought

Nah, you think it's a trailer. So you expect it to do the exact opposite of what you think. So that's what you expect. But it does the exact oppsite of what you expect.

Did someone noticed, at the SIARPC thing, when Hammond says to JC about the little electric.. "I'm sorry mate, you described it as a <<WOT>> last year" , you can read James May's lipps.. he is saying the same line as Richard. But I can get over that. images/smilies/mrgreen.gif It's a great show!

My favorite part was the tractor lap. That shit was hilarious. I loved it when Hammond's tractor went around.

JC: "Sorry to interrupt James but will it understeer as it goes around the hammerhead"
James and Richard: "NO!"

The one thing that I just find kind of weird is that the Top Gear Cool Wall muse is a geriatric person. I mean really she's so frigging old. Get someone new fresh and with less saggy facial features.

Also yes. Top Gear Dog's name isnt GIGI. It's TG for Top Gear. Listen carefully.

Geriatric? She's only in her 40's. What are you? Thirteen? You probably spend half your time trying to suck your own dick. images/smilies/tongue.gif

Nah what I meant to say was that she looks a lot older for her age. It's just personal opinion man.

I've scanned 11 pages of this thread and wonder why nobody mentioned that JC keeps talking about harvesting 'petrol' out of the rapeseed crop and not biodiesel.

... well, I don´t know what exactly they plan to do with the Stuff they are growing (or say they are), but Biodiesel isn´t the only Fuel that you can get from Biomass.

For example, check out these two wikipedia-articles:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Biobutanol
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bioethanol (wich is -at least in Europe- already mixed into the Petrol you can buy at the Station)

And I guess they are going for Bioethanol, because clarkson has this Grudge against Diesel images/smilies/smile.gif

Even Hammond's tractor wasn't the slowest lap ever at 4:49. In S01E08, one of the White Van drivers (Don, I think) managed to get a 4:55 (getting lost during the lap).

Another pointless fact is that the Ford Escort that appears at ~2:00 is the same car (MEA581V) that appears about 20:50 into Apocalypse Clarkson, just after all the race car crashes.

I tell you, knowing that stuff (had to check to make sure, though) is kinda scary...

Anyone know if in the 10x series we get to see the results of their tractor fun? Would love to see the ways they can create to burn all that gas images/smilies/smile.gif
