It seems odd that they film you, then say lets look at your lap. Rather than saying lets look at some decent clips of you going around the track at different times of the day. TBH, I'm not that bothered, there are slightly more pressing things than some chronology of a segment of some TV ![]()

Really. Top Gear has lost a bit of the spark that it had before.. Anyway! The lambo!! WHAT A SOUND!! |

Car: BMW 330Ci SE Rep Power: 0 ![]() | Does anyone else think it was a terrible episode, or atleast one of the worst ones? I mean its turning into 5th gear, 45mins of challenges, features and interviews and 10-15 mins of actually getting down to the business of driving and reviewing cars!! They should have swapped the level crossing feature for a head to head review, and used the level crossing in another episode. Last weeks episode 09x04 was far better IMO. 911 Turbo and Merc SL600 looked at and one awesome challenge with that shuttle!! I feel TG is becoming a bit hit and miss, with this episode, its almost as if they are running out of ideas for features. Although the tractors were cool it was a little far fetched for a feature on TG, and even though the the Reliant Shuttle feature was friggin awesome, that too was IMO pushing the limits a little too far,.......... but i'll let 'em off with that one cause it was so coooool 8) |

On the other hand - Well the best show on UK TV at the mo - beats into second place "Life on Mars", IMHO. Great episode - loved it. The first time I saw James's "convoy" I nearly fell on the floor laughing! Last edited by Cobol74; February 26th, 2007 at 12:06 AM.. |

| Gulf Livery Rules | But the fastest on the track was the zonda with less hp. i think that as useless as the 4wd is around the track (should have been a lot faster), it did amazing work putting the power down to the road in a straight line. |

Car: 2004 Clio dCi 1.5 100HP Rep Power: 13 ![]() | oh my goodness, what a hilarious episode. stig falling off the seat made me do just the same thing off the sofa.. not laughed so hard in a long time. I love the LP640, and it was weird that i watched the very first episode, with the lambo vs zonda, and now how good the production quality is. I guess i do prefer the challenges to be about cars, like 10k supercars and whatnot, but this was pretty damn funny, and the size of that plane jezza pulls! whats funny is that ive read about that JCB in a race sitation in EVO's 100th issue. Im sure jezza says its a 8.3l V8 (cant remember) but just lookin at the specs, its an 8.3l I6.. which is just monsterous!!

So I skipped the interview (I usually do) but the rest of the show was some first class entertainment! The dragrace was hilarious and the Stig sliding out of the chair made me actually lol ![]()

Rep Power: 26 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Great ep. The train segment was good. It's impressive to see the train can damage a car like that. The tractor laps are the funniest part, and thos lap times, lol. I like the LP640, it still look very agressive, slightly more restrained styling is good imo. not much car review, but it isn't a bad ep at all.

Rep Power: 0 ![]() | The trainsection was pretty awkward... hardly funny to be honest. But still, what a funny episode. The Stig falling out of the chair had me i pain. The tractor stuff was pretty neat aswell. The LP640 is just stunning - I was moaning like a pervert. My feeling is that we lack reviews because of the crap weather England is blessed with this time of the year. The news has been simply ace during the last few shows. |

Car: Subaru Legacy Rep Power: 0 ![]() | I was disappointed with the train section since it lacked context... but my God, the rest of the episode was amazing. The dragging race must be one of the best moments in TG history (though moreso for long-time fans who understand the convoy and the office =) One gripe though. Does anyone else think, for the acceleration and top-speed segments, they should keep one little inset focussed on the gauges like Best Motoring? That would really put the performance into tangibility. |
