Car: 98 Nissan Altima, YEAH Rep Power: 11 ![]() ![]() ![]() | I think it was an unbelievable episode. The merc and bmw segment was simply mind blowing. Excellent writing, amazing cinematography, just great! The caravans was a fine "cocking about" segment to top off the already excellent episode. 5/5 |

Car: Mazda 6 Rep Power: 11 ![]() ![]() ![]() | Good solid working class episode. Reminds me of some of the classic episodes of earlier seasons. James did a solid review of the Alpha and I may consider picking up a used one. After all everyone first Alpha must be a used one, correct? Jeremy had a great review of the Honda, he hated it and it reminded me that I still want a Ford ASBO after all this time. The BMW/Merc comparison convinced me that I would rather have a case of Bird Flu than either of them. Richards race was amusing and I loved the driver introductions. The SITRPC was not some inane twit plugging for an upcoming film which is always a plus. The news was hysterical with the vibrating seat and full of Bull Semen. It is surprising that petrol is the cheapest form of energy to this day considering all it takes to find, produce, refine, and distribute. But this weeks studio was liberally sprinkled with bits and bites of eye candy just everywhere! Absolutely astonishing amount of young hot girls. All in all TG was once again the best show TV again this week and with the added bonus of "Girls Gone Gear." |

Car: Citroën GSA, Mitsubishi Colt Rep Power: 5 ![]() | Least interesting of this season, so far. Still great fun with the motorhomes. Guest wasn't too interesting (too much physical sport, too little motorsport ). Maybe it's because Jeremy had a cold. Poor Jeremy. My girlfriend just heard the sound of this episode and thought Jeremy had bought a Mitsubishi Colt... He'd never do that .Anyway, still a 3 star episode. It's great nevertheless .Downloading! Quote:

The vibrating-chair-thingy-chick was allright. But I preferred the friend she took with her. There's often pretty nice girls behind either of the Top Gear Presenters. Wouldn't it be a nice idea to open a topic full of top-gear-chick-printscreens then? ![]() Last edited by s_k; November 19th, 2007 at 01:43 AM.. Reason: Added some... | ||

Rep Power: 0 ![]() | well, i voted 3/5, imo this episode was not downright bad, it had its funny moments, i liked the reviews and the filming quality is top notch as always, yet, there was something amiss, somebody on a previous post has said it was dry, and for lack of a better way to put it i guess i will use that: dry. |

Car: 1995 Nissan 240SX Rep Power: 45 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Good idea about the polls! I gave this one a 5/5. It just had that bit of everything: a review that just makes you want to dance in your chair in excitement and appreciate an honest review with some humour injected (Honda Civic Type-R), one that makes you want to grunt (M5 Touring vs. AMG Mercedes Estate), an interesting review with flavour (Alfa 159) and the hilarious camper-van racing segment - man, that was funny! ![]() The only thing I wasn't nuts about is the news. Keep the political bantering and general dicking around, but don't edit out all the car stuff that we usually see on the uncut versions. Now that I think of it, for that, I should have given a 4/5 (or 4.5 if I could have). Nonetheless, It seems that Top Gear is really trying to return to its roots with this series, and they're doing a darn good job of it. |

| I believed it was a good, well-rounded episode. Thing is, nothing jumped out at me. So while it might be going to back to it's roots, it's still only average. My 2 cents. The blonde in the news though... *drool*

| For some reason, while Clarkson was reviewing the typeR, I was really hoping he didn't like it. I mean, what in the world is a Honda Civic TypeR doing with SatNav? Its supposed to be all out track car. I'd take the EK9 anyday, or at least the current Japanese TypeR, not the UK one. A TypeR is supposed to be a fully bred track car, not a Street Hot Hatch like how the British one turned out to be.

| I really like it. This is probably the second best episode this series IMO. I really like that Civic Type R, too bad you cant buy one in North America. The M5 vs E63 was great, I think I'd choose the M5. But I would rather have the M5 sedan. The motorhome racing was hilarious, that motorhome at the end with the wiesmann inside...I really want that lol. +1 ![]()

| Fantastic episode as always! I just finished up watching my downloaded episode (That I don't watch until 8pm my time because I'm that much of a nerd) and it was absolutely great. Top Gear's production really shined in this episode as did the editing. Top quality as always, good job lads! ![]() | |

| Great episode! I gave it a 5/5, but I think the vote should be out of 10 because, if that was the case, I would have gave it a 9 because it was close to perfect. ![]() And I REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY want a Performance!!! ![]()

I was half expecting them to make fun of what cars can/can't fit in the motorhome's built in garage. I wouldv'e liked to hear what Jeremy had to say on that. Capt. Slow getting lost on an oval was priceless. Civic part was good. Also, where is Oliver?!?
