I was wondering how long it would take for someone to note the gratuitous cleavage shot of the blonde woman during the news. It's ok. Only, what, 250+ million viewers worldwide have now seen down her shirt

i usually never get any direct quote replies but i checked back and i see 2 so, better late than never:
@dma that's a bet you are bound to loose ![]() @s_k yeah, it's hard to give it a 1/5 coz it wasn't that bad, most of what i've come to expect from a TG episode was there, something was amiss in the tone of the presenters tho, only my opinion. cheers manniac |

The guest on this episode (the rugby guy) mentioned that his sister died in some kind of tragedy....but I cant make out what he said. It sounded something like the martianese tragedy. He says it at 35:21. Does anyone know what hes talking about?

episode was pretty good, but it seems like they are running low on ideas on what to race. A man crawling across the mud? Why would someone do that anyway?

I dont know if this was said before anywhere on the site, but at least im not doing it in a new thread and just in a new post.
I was just rewatching eps of top gear, and noticed that the alfa romeo review was done MUCH EARLIER than when it was. In fact a year and a half ago, to the date of when this orginially aired, when the 159 was much newer. In the preview of season 8 in the first episode of that season at 2.22. You will see a clip of the Alfa Romeo 159 review. I thought "hang on, that was shown much later on". So it took the production team a whole year or more to find a spot to put that review in, a while after the car was released compared to when they orginially filmed it when it was probably brand spanking new. So they were paying attention as James May said they weren't Last edited by dragonboy3000; January 31st, 2009 at 11:13 AM. |

Great episode and the best bits were:
- The motorhome race - The sport estates test (BMW M5 vs Mercedes E-Class AMG) |

I'm not sure if this has been mentioned before, but has anyone noticed the start tune at the beginning is actually an octave lower then the original tune?
