Quite a few funny bits, but the funniest was when Jeremy said he wanted the to take the Lamborghini baubles home; Richard and James - without hesitation - broke them. images/smilies/lol.gif

I gave it 8/10. No big ooh's or aahhs's, but a solid episode none the less.

Wow the stig is a lucky man...new term to the phrase "paper bag" now more appropriately "Racing helmet"

And I loved the halo music in the Jaguar part...that was awesome and James is an amazing car reviewer. His reviews this episode really made me happy he is in Top Gear.

Great way to go out for the season. I was not interested in the new Jag, but after that I was very much like my avatar.

While watching JC drive the Mercedes I started to think... Are car companies relying way to much on Electronics to "tune the car" rather than doing legitimate chassis design? The Merc was a perfect example, when you turn the TC off all of a sudden it was hard to drive and what not. Ferrari's cars have a similar problem these days with the electronics off.

Just seems like they are being lazy or are trying to find something else for their marketing department to throw on the spec sheet.

Default Season 10 Greetings

News segment complete with broken ornaments, tacky shirt, cologne, and a virgin. Top Gear Awards complete with TG Car of the Year, well sort of. A radio controlled car, batteries included. A travel rabbit that needs no batteries, just pop it in! Hopefully you, or your "stig-nificant other," will be lucky enough to put the other end into one of those German cars, I'd have any of them. Or possibly that as modern as James May Jag. And to finish this feast whats his name, the SIARPC, conjures up a vision out of space/time of Billie Piper's see through top. I'd rather that than Sugar Plum fairies dance through my head any long winters night.

Best wishes to Andy, Jeremy, Richard, James and The Stig's, this season was absolutely joyful from beginning to end! Enjoy your Holidays, you deserve it. Then get back to get back to work, if you can call it that. You've got a few more seasons to get through before my name pops up in the Applause cue for tickets.

Nice, nice indeed. Seeing the Lotus 72 was fantastic, it being my all time favorite F1-car.

Not sure if I like Stiggy procreating. It means he has at least momentarily taken his mind/cpu off of driving.

It's hard to explain, you had to grow up in the 1970s "malaise" era, where everything was turning politically correct, the economy was bad, industries were collapsing, middle of the cold war, in the US throw in the gas shortages and Nixon resignation. Morale was low. Then here comes this insane daredevil doing insane stunts that were like national events and feel-good carnival shows. It was ballsy showmanship and everything that the politically correct, sheepish era that it lived in was not. In a world of people moaning that things can't be done, he was one person saying the impossible was indeed doable.

I'm 38 and I barely remember Evel in his prime but I do remember I had a sort of wind-up motorcycle and dragster and I remember making ramps for them and doing stunts. I must have been 5-ish. He was brash, exciting, and politically incorrect in an era when all those things were lacking. He was the closest thing to a grass roots folk hero I can think of. He was sort of the last sprit of the wild-west cowboy.

I marked it as a 9 on the poll but it's at least a 9.5. I always thought the season enders were a bit dry (still good just never great) but they went out with a bang this year.I loved the news bit, especially when they were talking about the after shave and jezza started spraying it all over after hearing bugetti just let them borrow it.

All in all a great show to end a great season. I can't wait until next year and see what they have in store for us in series 11.

I very rarely give 10/10, but i really liked this.

If i had to be picky then the Jaguar XF had some terrible music mixed in and some stupid sound effects, but otherwise the whole of the show was just so good. Wouldn't have minded if they would have put more commentary on when they switched between the 3 German cars either instead of just shots of the Stig by a pool and all that none-sense, but whatever. I think people are genuinly interested in their opinions, so it would be nice if they would put the content in and shorten all the less then great gimmicks. I love stiggy gimmics like everyone else but i don't need so much of it that it leaves time for 1 minute of driver exchange commentary.

I enjoyed Stiggy hitting the apple the first attempt. And his woman is hot.

I actually thought it was quite boring and skipped through the SiaRPC and the G-Wiz. They didn't drive the M3/C63/RS4 much and they wasted a lot of time showing James measuring things and Richard trying to explain torque curves to Jeremy. F*** that! Show some more of the cars!

I'm glad the M3 won! That made my day!8) (puts on sunglasses and inserts hands-free device)images/smilies/lol.gif

I think this was a pretty good episode, May's Jaguar bit was a little short in my eyes, was waiting for a little bit more of talking but it ended just as a I thought that.

The three-way car comparison was great, all three cars are great in thier own way, the RS4 is such an epic car for me, even if it was a bit slower than the bunch. And seeing the Lotus go around the track was great, some awesome raw power in that F1 car. 30+ years since it was built...and still smoking fast.

David Tennant...meh. G-Wiz segment was great, got a big smirk on my face when I saw the R/C cars...since I always fool around with the local kids in their cars when they drive by images/smilies/tongue.gif.

Oh...and did anyone notice that...the Stig for the Lotus drving...had a bit of hair sticking out the back of the helmet? images/smilies/mrgreen.gif (51:32)

Overall a good ending to the series, can't wait untill next year. They should lead it off with a '08 STI testing frenzy! images/smilies/biggrin.gif

It was a good episode. I liked the Jaguar review. And the RS4-M3-C63 test. The Awards were pretty funny too.

But did anyone else notice the "genuine 500hp" Mustang, was actually a Shelby GT? Which is rated at 319hp. Yeah, that's uh, quite a bit off from 500hp.

8/10. Nothing outstanding, but I was laughing too damn hard throughout the episode to give it anything less.
