What on Earth was the picture that Clarkson showed during the news segment? The camera cut away so we didn't get to see it! Damn censorship!

Oh lord, when Hammond appeared in his "police car" I completely pissed myself. Classic!

I haven't laughed this hard in a long time, especially Jeremy's stupid ass tire things....

9/10! This is the Top Gear I love.

Blimey, that weel that came of JC's car was quite dangerous!
Great episodes, feels like TG is back!
This was better than whole S09 together!

Btw: in the beginning (first 15 min), I thought there was a bit too much Clarkson (he kept on rattling and the others almost said nothing, don't you agree?)

Well apart from the last section ( the police bit), that was very very very average.

Spot the "health and safety" moment when Jeremy's wheel came off tho! Ooops

The challenge, James ice cream sound was hilarious... Jeremy is fucking brave and that wheel which nearly hit the camera. :O

A perfect mix of reviews for the people who wanted them, and absolutely f*cking hilarious car comedy with the police cars. 10/10. James Mays police siren had me in hysterics!

Loved the 'Dave' comments, about time they mentioned it! Oh and for some reason the announcer thought they were ONLY on BBC1

Worst. Guests. Ever.

Otherwise it was fun, but the very obviously staged challenges disappointed a bit. Continuity problem in Hammond's lap? His spike mat re-appears there briefly after he lost it first...

It seemed really different to normal Top Gear, dunno why. Prob just the way they started and the interview wasnt really much of an interview. The stunt driver thing was utterly pointless but at least its back and it was damn funny, especially the police cars. Rozzers!!!

Indeed. A less than stellar episode to open this new series. Let's hope it goes uphill from here.

That was hilarious, a little run down:

The fuel economy segment was quite serious, the Prius isn't that economical (tho that was most likely faked, but I get there point), or environmentally friendly. The stunt bit was OK, I guess its more for kids who like that sort of thing.

The police cars, bloody hell that was funny, WTF was Hammond thinking buying that piece of shit. Jeremy's wheel add ons were classic! James clearly hadn't thought out how shit that Lexus is

Lets hope there more to come

I disagree; it was great that he made the point that it is NOT what the car is, it is how you DRIVE it. I can get 30 mpg out of my porky WRX, which is rated at 20/27.

Not too bad a start to a new series- I don't like either of the guests and the Top Gear Stuntman bit didn't do a lot for me, but otherwise, business as usual, and some good stuff.
