great episode loved the bit with hammond on the horseimages/smilies/biggrin.gif .
the only thing i didn't like about this episode or this series in general is that james and richard don't appear to be doing much, i mean have they actually done a proper car review yet?

I gave it a 10. It was my favourite episode of the season, I loved every part.

The GTR was just awesome, makes an incredible noise and it put in a stunning time.

The luxury car part was really funny and I like the fact that it was a bit more real because they actually own the cars. Instead of crashing into each other it was about parking and slaloms.

The Dragons Den guys were actually entertaining to watch and had some interesting stuff to say about cars. They also put in some good laps.

The hunting segment had to be scripted but it was very entertaining especially Clarkson hitting his head everytime he went over a bump.

I seem to remember one of Jeremy's Sunday Times columns where he talks about having the thing put back into full working order and how expensive it all was because it's all hydraulic and the systems were only developed for that car. The power windows and loads of other bits just weren't working so he had to spend £15K getting it all fixed. Kudos to JC for helping to preserve a bit of our motoring heritage.

When I come to power I am going to make it law that anyone with more than £2m has to buy and do a bare metal restoration of a quality classic car and keep it that way for future generations or I'll send some large, grumpy men with tattoos round to put soft bits of their anatomy in a vice.

just an average ep for me. not great, but not horrible either. Only laughed once, and that was at James' reference to Elvis' demise.

- GT-R review was okey. Amazing lap
- Good to finally see some cars on the news. Quite liked it actually.
- Old cars was nice too. The only part that let it down was the unneccesary MTV-style graphics in the start of the film.
- Fox hunt was okey, but PLEASE DONT DUB THE CAR NOISE.

I'd thought I'd read somewhere that it was a gift from his wife.

If I'm right that's a gift that cost him £15,000. If I'm wrong, it#s a nice thought - a gift that actually says "PAY ME".

I enjoyed the episode. May being used (and getting to end the show!). The foxhunt was good TV. The GT-R being pretty darn amazing considering the price. The guests not being as horribly posh and businessy as I'd feared. The concept cars! \o/

Well, 8/10 from me. I think the worst in this season so far, but still an 8. Seems its going to be an awesome quality over quantity season!
GTR review was great, but Jezza, come on, you gotta get yourself in a little bit of shape... Awesome time, too. But still, a supposedly 480bhp car equals a Scuderia? How? 400kg extra and 50 hp less? AWD and clever stuff can't make all that up. I'd love to see it dyno'd. Wonder what tires it has... 1.5 G comes from semi slicks mostly and not the suspesion, IMO.
News were pretty funny with that dude from Swindon images/smilies/wink.gif
Old luxury segment seemed a bit unfinished, but that added some charm and its was funny.
The hunt was well done, pretty neat that this little shitbox offroaded like that... I'd like a comparison to an M class and an X5 please...

Why was Hammond even apart of the hunt? He was pointless. (I guess he needed something to do this episode.)

And also the Terios makes quite a good noise for such a car. images/smilies/dry.gif

Other than that, best episode of the series. The bit in between the Nissan and the news with Richard and James felt so old school I shed a tear images/smilies/cry.gif

This episode was near as make no difference spotless. Good choice of segments, even the double guest stupidity (I prefer one guest at a time, thank you) worked well, for once.

GT-R was good, I didn't think it would be, but it was. I was looking forward to May and Jezza batteling over which car was the best, I must admit I'd prefer the Merc, even if I'm an anglophile.

News was great, long and good, much better than the short news they've done so often.

No, this gets the thumbs up from me. Best so far in the season, 9/10. 10/10 would need more May, and bashing of some cheap chinese crap.

When's the new Hyundai Coupé comming out, by the way? I want a review of that, and the Kia C'eed.

OK Episode - loved that GTR, nice Fox hunt, Old banger posh cars and LONDON - what did you expect you park in posh places like Park Lane but good telly and the News was great. I must admit to being surprised at how entertaining the SIARPC was so. ....

9/10 for me.

Buh? He had a back injury in the past due to powersliding and he did something to his neck/back whilst powersliding...He's also not in the first spring of youth. I don't think going to the gym will fix it.
