Thanks for sharing. I liked this episode much more than the past two. Ok the long jump test could have been a bit more interesting (this CSL is really lightwight, isn't it? images/smilies/biggrin.gif) but overall pretty entertaining.
btw. does anybody know the song beginning at 4:46?

Cool song at the very beginning of the Volvo review - it's got good beats. What is it?

i dont like the fact that Chevrolet decided to supply them with a base C6 (not made for the track entirely)

it didn't even have the Z51 package (made for track/strip) which is another (i believe) 2500$ package (US funds) which apparently is well worth it...it cuts down .2 second in the 1/4....lateral g's are different and different suspension setup plus some other goodies

oh and as for how the viper would perform...i dont think it'd out do the corvette...viper is more just balls to the wall straight line performance but from what i recall it also ways a butt load...still fast though

C6 Z06 will be very very high up there (supposed to be 500HP+ to compete with viper)

they admit its a fast car but that package wouldnt have changed the fact that it has cheap parts.

Strokes - Reptilia

It's off of their new album 'Room on Fire' which is actually fairly good. I've never been a Strokes fan, but I do quite like the album. images/smilies/smile.gif

I have no clue about the other song title requests though. images/smilies/sad.gif
I think I'm going to have to brush up on my European electronic music knowledge - I keep on getting stumped! The music used in this episode did seem more obscure than normal though.

I love Top Gear of course, but I really dont think they (mostly Jeremy) WANT an American car to do well. Its all in good humor though , good episode , Ill miss it until fall though.

Im still curious which version they ran. The normal coupe or the upgraded suspension Z51 coupe. Either way not a bad run for a 3200lb car..... hope they run the next Z06 images/smilies/biggrin.gif

nice episode, didn´t think vette would handle so well, or was it only stig´s talents.

5-series touring looked nice, and quite reasonable against X3

I'm so glad they still didn't like the C6 too much. Agreed that it's a fast car... but you see too many people who aren't supposed to driving one, driving one (not to mention I'm sure at least 1/2 to 3/4 of the owners feel like driving an AUTOMATIC ONE!!!... Grrr)

Did anyone find kinda funny though the picture of the DB9R (Racing Version) was the same one was mentioned on the board quite a bit ago, being the horrid chop shop photoshop job? Same backdrop and color car... with added bits and pieces. It does look cool... but it doesn't quite look like what they showed right? Oh well... No harm and I still love that DB9 anyway... Anyone got an extra 180,000 I can have?... images/smilies/lol.gif
