I just watched this episoed!
A pretty good one, but not one of the best...

Other "modern" cars with leaf springs:
* Volvo V90 (960), which made it handle a lot better than the 940... images/smilies/wink.gif
(it has one composite transverse leaf spring between the rear wheels).

* Jösse Car Indigo 3000 (http://www.jossecar.com/)
It uses the Volvo 960 leaf springs, with the difference that they use the leaf spring in the front as well... pretty cool car. images/smilies/smile.gif
They also used the very nice straight 6 cylinder (3.0l) engine from the Volvo 960.
Which is good when you live in Sweden, since you can get service for it in basically all villages with a car repair shop... images/smilies/wink.gif

Unfortunately they went bankrupt and only built 39 cars or something like that.

Ha that Josse Indigo is so cool! I used to tell people there was actually a car named after me (Jos) and they didn't believe it existed, they thought I went Michael Jackson and had my own statue images/smilies/sad.gif

It's not really based on any car, but borrows a lot of parts from the Volvo 960.
The rear suspension (multi link axle and the mentioned leaf spring) is straigt from the Volvo. The spring is also used in the front, but the front axle is a construction of their own with doubel aluminium wishbones..
I think more parts, like gearbox, steering, electricity etc comes from the Volvo as well, but I'm not sure. As mentioned, the engine is from the Volvo.

So, I don't know if this has been revisited yet, but I, too, have been killing myself for weeks over who does the music behind Hammod's lap in the 407, and with some help of my girlfriend with the grammar auf deustch I'm now 90% sure the song is "Keine Melodien" by Jeans Team. The other 10% says it's Ascii Disko, but it's not likely since the sample MP3s a Jeans Team seem to be dead on.

Take a peak at: http://www.nuloop.com/Details_e.php?arti=13138#

and click the Realplayer Icon to hear samples, especially the firs ttrack, the "DJ Lan Mix".

And, incidentally, there is NOTHING wrong with leaf springs.. My 1984 Dodge Aries had leaf springs and it could go around the track in at least 1:30.. by that I mean one hour and thirty minutes images/smilies/smile.gif

Is there any reason this episode is not playing properly for me? It keeps temporarily freezing up and then getting scrambled, resulting in the sound syncing being way off. Any ideas?
