Ouch, that one is pretty difficult. images/smilies/sad.gif It's got a mid-90s British big-beat feel to it - althought I don't know who it is, my money would be on it being Propellerheads.

Only problem with that is that there are tonnes of Propellerhead rip-off bands out there. Let's hope whoever put the song in Top Gear chose a song by a big-beat originator (Propellerheads, Chemical Brothers etc. who would be easier to find) rather than one of the numerous imitators. My ears will be on the look out for this one.

So do we still not have a lock in on what was the song used at the beginning of the MG review? I'll search out some of the Propellerheads and Chemical Brothers stuff and report back if I have any luck. I leau of that I hope someone has a better idea.

Thanks again in advance.

^ Ya, sadly I haven't been listening to anything like Chemical Brothers\Propellerheads\Crystal Method etc. recently, so my chances of stubmling on the song aren't that high. images/smilies/sad.gif I've done a pretty thorough check of my Chemical Brothers collection (I've checked 3 or 4 albums) and haven't found it, but I don't own any Propellerheads albums. It could very well be them, but it would require looking around quite a bit. They have an album called 'Decksanddrumsandrockandroll' from around 1998 as well as a bunch of singles. I'll try to find some of their stuff if I get a chance. images/smilies/smile.gif

I think it's the fact that he sings about rather feminine subjects and therefore as a man, it somehow feels wrong to be a "fan". Though secretly they all really love his music images/smilies/wink.gif
