Just get the audio right. If there would be some problems with the picture I wouldn't care, but problems with the sound are always just unbelievably annoyning.

Hey there all you car lovers. I recently registered so I thought I might post a reply. I would (in regards to the sound issue) definately re-encode the file, seeing that there is no more an annoying thing than watching ANY kind of show, film whatever and the sound is off... even by half a second. Only then does one realise the huge importance of sound (as well as picture) ... I always think of Italian films from the 50's whenever I come across these kinda files... images/smilies/smile.gif

Anywho I do hope you guys are going to re-post the clip. Keep up the great work! Peace out!

Re-encoding is the perfect solution... but meanwhile, why not post the episode "as is"???

Re-encode it if possible. If not, put the screwed up version back on. I agree - out of sync audio can drive a person nuts, but if the alternative is not to see the episode at all then I'll just have to live with it. Who knows, maybe I'll even manage to correct the audio sync myself. It's not that I know anything about video/audio encoding, I'm just THAT desperate to watch the new ep.

Whatever you do, PLEASE do it soon... It's been two weeks since the last episode and I'm starting to experiece withdrawal...

By the way - good news: BBC World starts airing the 4th series of Top Gear tommorow; bad news: the show will be cut to 30 mins...

its easy for you guys to vote and type the word reencode... but you have to know it takes time for it to be done... so I guess you could just watch it and keep the re-encode as archive images/smilies/wink.gif

hi yall, new here,

If there is just an audio sync problem, its easy to fix
just run virtualdub, select audio, then interleaving and there you can select
a delay for the audio.
