| Squirrel Mincer | that was simply awesome. lots of funny coking about moments and yeah the footage was breathtaking. i've seen all the tricks they use to get 4x4s through snow but i was still amazed how they managed to get through the boulder field if i was going to the pole though, i would fit a snow blower/ice rink sprayer to the front of my truck and pave my way there 8) best TG ever, i think i'm gonna go and watch it again... |

| I want to go there and take photos of that crashed plane, that's insane. The ending felt a bit flat to me, but I think it was better than the usual race endings that feel really staged. It actually all felt pretty real, which was great, obviously there were a few of the staged jokes with Clarkson driving off with James on the "throne", but it's all in good humour. It would have been nice to see Hammond get to the Pole though, I assume he wouldn't have just given up and gone home! I really enjoyed it, that place looks gorgeous. | |

Rep Power: 9 ![]() ![]() ![]() | That was a cracking episode funny as only TG can be and serious too. I would have liked to see Richard reach the pole after all his hard work. We can see now how he was able to run 16 miles through the floods earlier in the week. |

Car: Golf Mk 3 Rep Power: 0 ![]() | How great was that! I am quite pleased that no one has yet moanded about the lack of CARS in this special. All three of them have my deepest respect of what they have achieved. It was a truly touching episode, with brilliant pictures not only of the yet again instestructable Hilux, but also the beautiful scenery and three men battling with nature. Go, Team Dog! The only thing I found a bit strange that they didn't show Hammond reaching the Pole. Did he make it in the end? He looked truely gutted. But he should be proud of himself because I do think that his way of travelling was more challenging all the way through the journey, while Team G&T had easy bits and really really bad bits. Top marks!!! ![]() |

| Great episode, good cocking about but still serious at some moments. Greatest thing for me: 5 seconds they are going and they are drinking gin | |
