These DVD's really show you how valuable Hammond and May are to Top Gear.

I thought it sucked. The beginning was okay, then car after car after car with Clarkson's cliche phrases, - boring.
Definitely worse then the previous two.

It felt like really watered down Top Gear.. meh.

I did like the Top Gear vs Fifth Gear and would love to see an actual competition between both teams.

Best part - "Stig... it just says Gits backwards.." - Tiff

Same as his previous DVD's. Do one part, move on, do another equally fun/crazy/stupid challenge, and move on.

I far prefer the normal TG show format, as that has the other two as well.

Overall, a bit meh.

I didn't liked it, it felt bland and repetitive, and i think TG vs. AG could've been done so much better.

i beleve everyone in this post do not really get the essense of topgear, jeremy clarkson and having fun...

everything jc has ever produced is love or hate, nothing in between! if you say "i like it, but some bits" - you dont get it...

personaly, jc could sit near a car for 1.20 hours and do absolutely nothing and i still would want to see again and again. duel has jc, loads of great cars, tonns of fun - the end! need nothing else. best timewaisting since last tg season. love it!

Cut out the lame stuff like the celebrity offroading, flipper drifting, and frog vs car and this should have been a 40 min DVD. Highlight for me was having Tiff and Vicki show up! Ok, the highlight was Vicki showing up though Tiff had some comments that made me laugh and I never find him amusing on FG. VBH and Stig flirting was

5/10

This was really disappointing... some bits where funny, but wtf this one was horrible. Fifth Gear competition was weak, I wanted to see Tiff and Stig go head to head.

2/10 from me. Horrible... cant believe Clarkson and the top gear production team made this..

I was quite shocked when the camera turned and it was Tiff and Vicki. Though, they could have done a LOT more with that.

Oh well. It killed a little time before the new season of TG starts.

I enjoyed the orgy of noises from the selection of cars.

I also enjoyed VBH + Stig. God someone better not make that into a meme or an entire forum dedicated to their virtual love.

Otherwise it was extremely bad. Can't wait for TG 14 to come. Nuff said

Meh, it's alright. It somewhat lacks the charm of Clarkson's older DVDs, which is disappointing. There's always the old ones to go back to, I suppose. They worked better when it was Clarkson's outlet for crazy destruction, back when Top Gear was sensible-ish.

Top Gear production team? This is produced by 2Entertain, I'm not sure it has any link to the BBC. Does it have the BBC logo on the case? I can't remember if my old ones do.

+1

Humour was cheesy, felt too scripted and it was all a bit pointless, really.

3/10 from me. Watchable but not enjoyable.

Bring on Season 14.

^ I believe it's the same production team, as seen in the Supercar Showdown outtakes when one guy from the team says it's easier to work with Hammond or May than Clarkson, or something like that

allright, general consensus seems to be that it's 1) more of the same and 2) pretty bad.

Haven't seen it yet (but will do tonight) but I'll post comments when I have.

I do think that the last couple of years his DVDs seem to be getting worse and worse, nice cars, but indeed the same old same old "boring" stuff from JC. I also thought his older videos had a point to them, as in "I'm looking for the most ultimate car in ..." then he drives various things and ranks them...

now he just seems to be in a bunch of random cars (not even in the same class/size/budget), tell us that they are rubbish for reason x, end with an Aston, say it's wonderful, roll credits.

I liked it, it was good entertainment for before TG starts again. Liked the part with THE Tiff and VBH, and the stig

Surprised that Tiff didn't wear any safety gear for the demolition derby. That was the best part of the video. Everything else was ok. Probably 6/10.

Not as much "production team" as "creative/tech staff" - the director, cinematographer, cutter all are repeat offenders from Top Gear. I don't know for sure about the U.K., but most likely the creative/technical staff is employed on a fixed-term contract for as long as production takes, so doing this DVDs while TG is not shooting is some more weeks of employment for them.
