And I will be right there with him.

If I can't go, I am glad I will be able to go with James anyway.

I can think of noone I would rather go with cause he will tell us exactly what it is like.

Look at what Top Gear has opened up for him. And to think, he didn't want to do new top gear. I wonder what he thinks now.

Going into space has always been my dream, and as close as I was likely to get there was Concorde, but no chance of that now.

Heh, I have a quote about this from the TV guide in my folder at the moment. Taking great pride in showing it to my friends and gloating about how this may be the proof that this will show on Australian television....
*crosses fingers*
... oh heck, I'll probably download it anyways

There is a snippet of new information about James May on the Moon in this BBC press release about the BBC's spring/summer scedule.

Quote:
The moon landings season will include James May on the Moon, in which the Top Gear presenter trains for three days with the United States Air Force before travelling to the edge of space in a U2 spy plane.

Hum, I'll close my mouth after this then. Does the name Gary Powers ring any bells? Genuinely curious. Perhaps you're not American as I had assumed. That would explain it.

Here is the bit of history I figured most people were familiar with.

Ah, I see then! We were too far away to look over our shoulders so we sent an illegal spy plane (a U2) instead, and crashed it, and got caught. It's a fairly infamous event in American history for whatever reason.

I just knew you had mentioned in the spoiler area you weren't British and then your English was so perfect I assumed you were American. Lame move on my part.
