Plus the caravan is more of a British thing than a tour bus is.

Did previous series have hour long episodes? I may have just watched them back to back but I thought I remembered them being longer than the ones in this series.
That's a good point, I think they went for it because of the culture thing. The big bus showed the excess of California well.

Previous series were just half hour as well. I kind of wish it were longer though.

Absolutely hilarious. I like the 'Can we go for a pint' every 30 seconds.

Watched it, loved it. Even though I'm too young to drink, it's quite educational to see how beer is made, british style.

I actually haven't gotten around to watching this yet, probably because I want to watch them all in one big block (like I did with the past 2 seasons).

I love this series though, it's turned me into a wine ponce (my parents were a bit worried when i went on for ages telling them what was wrong with the zinfandel they had bought). Hope season 4 is in Australia!

Great third episode, but I do wish they had been allowed to make hour long episodes. It does feel very rushed with only very little time for each of the breweries and distelleries they are visiting. images/smilies/sad.gif

And it's been proven once again that James turned into a downright lyrical poet when he has had a few. images/smilies/biggrin.gif

This episode was excellent; not least as it was the first I can actually relate to (not a beer person).

I honestly love the Oz & James pairing and hope they keep making programmes together for a while to come.

Also, yes, deep fried mars bars are as awful as James said.

Episode 3 - Scotland
Spoiler Text: (Click here to toggle display)
Original Beer Brewers- need to watch this again and do some research on the two weird blokes on a park bench selling beer. Very hoppy beer!

Deep fried Mars Bars- I've been to Scotland a few times but have never seen this "delicacy". James: I have eaten bull’s penis & rotting shark meat but cannot manage this!

Caravan breaks down and was dumped, RR was free to fly!

Radical Race car on 200% proof pure spirit, Oz gets a fright.images/smilies/lol.gif

Islay distilleries - Western Isles are beautiful and the whisky does taste peaty, my favourite is Tallisker from Isle of Skye.images/smilies/cool.gif

Oz has calmed down a bit this week and James is a really funny bloke.

Great episode.
