Episode 3 of Oz and James was great, it seemed like it went on for a full hour. It's not as informative as the two series on wine, but I'm laughing a lot throughout which is good. I love James' "may I have another, please" at every brewery/distillery/winery they visit.

^^

The "Please sir, can I have some more?" is a very famous reference from the play "Oliver," which has been a huge success here.

Not the actual one they were drinking but same brewery. Although I generally don't agree with anything being banned, making marketing jokes about Speedballs probably isn't going to be a fast route to the supermarket shelves.
What kind of bullshit is that?
If people want to buy it, they should be able to sell it!
Banning something for what they write on the label belongs in China or some other country with strong censorships.

Was a great episode yet again, but I agree with whomever said it felt rushed. They spent too little time on too many distilleries for the 30 min episode.
This series would easily entertain people over the course of one hour, if not even longer. We should start a petition images/smilies/biggrin.gif

I'm really enjoying this show. It's a little more down to earth than the California and France seasons and much more "British". Ep 3 was pretty good, I particularly enjoyed James' ridiculous purple prose after drinking the "4x" whiskey.

I love this show, but it would've been better if it was an hour. There are so many places that they can go to than where they are showing on the show and not only is it funny to watch two old blokes getting pissed (I never thought it would be entertaining but it is), it's also educational for the drinker to choose the right one (which makes it funny in the first place). Mind you, I'm too young to drink. And if I did drink, I like Carlton Extra Dry with the Lime flavour.

To be honest I think however long each episode is it will feel a little rushed - you could easily spend a whole series on whisky or gin and beer would take years to cover in any depth.

You have to download the torrent again from within the site itself. The one on mininova is just put there to draw people to their site, it doesn't actually work.

You could try FTP (TechZ has all three eps to date up there) as an alternative. (See the FTP section for a how-to.)
