Are you asking about Oz & James Drink to Britain? It's out on DVD. You'll notice the original post in this thread is about a year old. The new DVD recently came out (mine is on its way from Amazon!).

And if you are asking about the fourth series: James only mentioned in an interview they are thinking about it, but there is nothing definite yet.

They should go to Czech Rep and or Germany for the next series.

Or

Australia/NZ for wine.

and maybe a jump over to Chile

Finally got my DVD in. Went straight to the extras. My favorite was the little boy and 2nd, James cleaning that car out.

Why did he have a porta john?

I thought, Yep.

Oz really looked mad about his boxer shorts. I can't decide if James is a scamp, or passive/agressive.

And the story of poor Oz's dog. James has a definite soft spot for animals. I know Richard loves dogs and stuff, but I just can't see him down on the ground trying to pet something while people are trying to talk to him.

Hehe, I just watched the extras. Absolutely phenomenal.

As for the shorts, Oz deserved it. I'm sorry, but treating a car, especially a classic like that Rolls, as a trash bin is totally inexcusable. Remember this is after he let a banana go mushy all over the Jag in France. And you know how James is about cars, with his brushes and all. Frankly, I think Oz got off easy only losing a couple of pairs of boxers. Who wears silk boxers in real life anyway?

Back to the DVD, I thought the bit with the fly was pretty classic. James is trying to explain the vacuum created by a fluid in motion and Oz calls it all drivel. Sort of like getting a taste of his own medicine if you ask me, after all the pontificating he's done so far.

All in all, I think this was the best series. I think it allowed more of their personalities to show through, and it wasn't all Oz trying to show off for the camera. I have my doubts that Oz can really educate James in anything besides wine, because James doesn't strike me as a dunce, so I'd imagine he knows a great deal about his favorite drinks. Having a series that wasn't all about wine allowed him to share his own opinion, even if they tried to make it look like he didn't know what he was talking about.

It looks like the boys won themselves an award.

Report of the evening. James wasn't there, so couldn't defend himself when Oz called him an "irritating old sod."

James might have not been there, but this pic proves that later on Oz did hand over the award to him.

Good choice I think ... because I couldn´t think of ANY other "wine personality" than Oz and James at all ...

I have to support Oz comments on moderate drinking though. We can´t have some stupid teenage bindge-drinkers ruin our beer or wine for us ...

I just finished watching this series last night.

Loved it!

And yes, I downloaded it...cause I can't find anything, even online in DVD format for US!

All I can find is PAL format...grr...

Hello, Columbus. Finally someone within a hundred miles of me.

You might be able to unlock your DVD player to make it region free.
Google your make and model of player and "region free code" and you might find instructions on how to do it.

Some episodes are available on The Pirate Bay. For example:

http://thepiratebay.org/torrent/4741415

Searching for "oz and james" shows episodes 1, 6, 7, and 8.

If TheBox is having open signups then that's the best private torrent tracker for British TV shows. They have absolutely everything:

http://www.thebox.bz

But be sure to seed afterwards. TheBox strongly encourages seeding.

I may just have to get a PAL DVD player...

But there's a lot of James May stuff out there, so it would probably be worth it

I have a Philips region free player and it plays all my region 2 British discs as well as all the .avi stuff I've burned to disc.

http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_ss?ur...egion+free+dvd

Totally worth it.

Also, if you have a fairly recent laptop (<4yrs) it probably has a multi-region DVD player, which is how I watch region 2 things.
