Have just shared a campsite with them up in Masham. They're driving his Rolls. Which unfortunately got a puncture yesterday.

And Oz still has his pink dressing gown.

Short film about probably same visit to said brewery. By the time this series hits our screens, it probably will already have been on YouTube for months.

Two more sightings!

In the Peak District for even more beer:

And moving on to Scotland and thus switching to whiskey. (Note how the people responding to the blog think it might be TopGear related.)

Yeah, probably. That's why I'm going to refrain from watching all the vids for now, but I'll probably cave. It seems so far away!

It definatly won't be called Big British Adventure.

There's a show starting on Five next week called 'Rory & Paddys Great British Adventure', the name is too similar IMO.

It turns out that James May really is that scruffy in real life, although he did appear to be a very, very pleasant sort of chap, as did Oz Clarke. They didn’t mind posing for photos at all. Bless ‘em.

I just can't get enough of James' style (or lack thereof) and it was a blast to read his new Telegraph column for it's classic Jamesness. In other words he started in on the way things work in sufficient blather to remind me of his introductions to Top Gear Stuntman. At least this latest bout managed to import some news on cars (engines actually) and beer for which we all know is the emphasis of his new drinking holiday turned show. If you have the time read his piece here:

Radical are extremely pleased with this. apparently they ran the car on whiskey! £26 a litre! I thought unleaded was bad enough!
