Car: Mazda6 Luxury Sports Rep Power: 19 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Top Gear's Hammond joins Lab Rats Top Gear host Richard Hammond is to present a children's television series about science. The 38-year-old will front Richard Hammond's Lab Rats - set in the world of a secret underground laboratory - on BBC One and the CBBC channel. The £2m series will ask children to carry out a number of experiments and messy challenges. Lab Rats - which Hammond is jointly producing - will be broadcast early next year. Hammond presents the show as the "Willy Wonka of the science world" living in a stately home with a secret laboratory below the stables, where he keeps his cars. Peter Wyles, who devised the format, said of the former Brainiac presenter: "Richard is the perfect person to host this series - he lives and breathes the world of popular science." http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/entertainment/7438388.stm

Rep Power: 6 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | I was hoping for something along the lines of Brainiac. Maybe something with Charlotte Hudson. |

Rep Power: 6 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | The earlier series were great. Also I developed a fondness for Charlotte Hudson as well. I also liked when they blew up caravans, which didn't happen in the latter series. Let him loose in a chemistry set. |

| Not A Dude | It sounds pretty good, maybe a bit boring, considering it's for young children, but it could still be fun. I don't know, I need to learn a little more about it, I haven't clicked on any of the links yet.

Rep Power: 5 ![]() | I doubt it'll be boring. Hammond's two science books are for kids, and there's nothing boring about them. In fact I managed to learn something from both of them, despite being a physics geek myself. |

Car: I'm not old enough to drive yet :( Rep Power: 0 ![]() | i've read can you feel the force because my physics teach recomended it 2 me. he knows i love hammond ! I didn't know he had his own production co called Hamster's Wheel Productions! cool! I applied to go on the show but i found out i was too old for it. his fave subject at school was physics which is why he likes cars and presented braniac. i think this show will have to be toned down for kids but hopefully it'll still be a laugh. Hey it has hamster in it, of course it'll be gr8 and even if it isn't, i'll be drooling over hamster! lol!I 4 EVA ! ! ! |

| Not A Dude | ^ Well I think we have a fanatic on our hands. Lol After looking into it some more, and checking out his books on amazon I actually think it'll be pretty good. He was very entertaining on Brainiac, and he's obviously good with kid stuff, so I'll definitely be looking forward to seeing it from now on.

Rep Power: 5 ![]() | Do you have the sequel to "Feel the Force", HimH4Eva? It's called "Car Science", and it's just as good as the first one. |
