WTF, a stock Viper SRT-10 is like a 1/10th of a second slower, modified, it's like sub-9 easily.

... I ask Herb Helbig, vehicle synthesis manager for SRT and a member of the original Team Viper development group since day one, if they'd ever thought of adding traction control. "It comes with two," he says, pointing at my feet. "Learn to use them." Got it.

It will be more nuts if they actually show how fast he's going, and how fast he crosses the country. I imagine they will have to say something because it is, after all, a race.

This is the most anticipated episode ever for me. I've been amazed by everything that I've read about the Bugatti. I'd say that the whole race theme is played out, but this car may be enough to keep it fresh.

Don't forget that with AWD and DSG, the Veyron will do that everyday, with one hand on the wheel.

Trying to say that the bike would require a whole lot of more concentration and commitment(sp), not to mention talent, to achieve that.

I think we all know that this episode is going to be awesome just because of the Veyron....but isn't everybody forgetting the fact that JC's racing against a plane flown by Cpt. Slow himself? It'll be hilarious to watch Jame's fly a plane when apparently he hasn't even finished all his lessons yet! I can't wait to see the look on Hamster's face when James goes "How do I land this thing again?" or "I can't quite seem to remember what this lever does....". images/smilies/lol.gif

I'm just dying of anticipation to see the Veyron!

For those who haven't seen it, here's a nice video of the Veyron being unloaded, driving around on some coastal road and then accelerating hard on the track:
http://movies.autoexpress.co.uk/evo/261005bugatti.mov (speed is announced in kph, still rather quick though!)

I think there is a lot they could still do for the races! They could enter the gumball or plaer's run, or whatever rich boy rally it is they do across europe. They could even make it more interesting and buy crap cars for the run as well, haha. They could race a kenyan across African countryside in a rally car, they could do so many different races they could do one per episode for the remainder of TG.

Heh, they could race around the 'ring with sabine driving and JC playing PS2 in the same car.

From behind the wheel of a Veyron, France is the size of a small coconut. I cannot tell you how fast I crossed it the other day. Because you simply wouldn’t believe me. I also cannot tell you how good this car is. I just don’t have the vocabulary. I just end up stammering and dribbling and talking wide-eyed nonsense. And everyone thinks I’m on drugs.
for sure!! images/smilies/thumbsup.gif

scratch that, it's a lie! I just did some fact checking on that because I read the 270MPH on the official website, everyone else is reporting:
Quote:
These automated lanes are equipped with digital camera systems that photograph violators' license plates at speeds of up to 100 mph.
HAHAHA, my car will do 174!!!
