In the last episode of the series, Jeremy James and Richard take three cars to Spain: the new BMW M3, Mercedes C63 AMG and Audi RS4. One reason for doing this is to discover which car makes you look least like a "hair-gelled weasel".

James drives the new Jaguar XF; Richard looks at beach buggies and Jeremy turns a G-Wiz into a radio-controlled car.

David Tennant is the Star in a Reasonably Priced Car.

Quote:
In a display of German firepower not seen since the Bismarck, we pit the BMW M3, Mercedes C63 AMG and Audi RS4 against each other in a quest to find the king of the V8 super saloons.

Richard builds himself the best radio-controlled car in the world, while James takes a considered look at the car designed to drag Jaguar kicking and screaming into the 21st century - the XF.

And, with it being our last show of 2007, it wouldn't be complete without the massively influential Top Gear Awards.

Plus, our Time Lord in a reasonably priced car is Dr Who star David Tennant.

E92 M3! YES!

*I edit this statement because after careful thought, I'd have an RS4. Its no-nonsense hardcore motoring. Everything I've read about the new M3 is its kinda soft. Plus with the AWD it would help with the ten inches of snow I got here at school in the past two days!

Its on at 9pm THIS week which is the Britcar Episode. Next week (which is this bundle of joy) I assume will be on at the same time...If I'm confused and this is what you were talking about I apologize.

This looks very good, I am very excited, I hope the Spainish Hot Big German Three Small Cars is good, I think this season could be the best yet with this combo.

Not sure about May in the XF... Possibly there's still an embargo on drives of that car. Maybe they'll replace it with the TG Awards (which were sorely missed last year on TV).

But the M3 vs. RS4 vs. C63 comparative test should be quite a humdinger... and a proper way to close one of the best series of Top Gear so far.

OH YEEEEESSSS!!! M3 VS RS4 VS C63!!! And they're doing a three-way comparison, which they didn't do in a long time. Last time I think was the Alfa Brera vs. Audi TT vs. Mazda RX-8. That wasn't really a comparison. I hope it's gonna be an "old-style" three-way where thay actually swap cars. Maybe they'll go to that beach in Wales again? images/smilies/lol.gif This is going to be an epic episode to end an epic series. images/smilies/biggrin.gif

Edit: I just realized that they're going to Spain for the three-way test, so no beach in Wales then. images/smilies/sad.gifimages/smilies/lol.gif

They can't use Pendine Sands anymore anyway. It's been closed off to cars for 3 years now.

Should be an awesome epp. Richard looks at beach buggies, images/smilies/think.gif, and 'find out which car makes you look least like a "hair-gelled weasel"'? images/smilies/think.gif

Surely with the amount of hair gel David wears as The Doctor, he should be involved with the challenge too... but maybe then they excluded him because they know (gel-wise) he wins hands down anyway... You have to admit, he's worse than the Hamster...

Or maybe it's a close run thing...
