Screw the stunts, just have one guest, and try to not force a shitload of mediocre segments into one episode. All the while, try not to make this into a sketch show. That's all I ask of Top Gear.

Doesn't sound that brilliant

the Evo v STi will winge alot about the overcomplication of the cars, mention the word playstation alot, and comment on how ugly the STi has gotten

I think he'll give it to the Evo in the long run.

Well this is going to bore the pants off my friends. Unless something epicly funny happens in any of those segements most people who actually don't care about cars will find it boring, they need some kind of challenge in just to appeal to the rest of thr audience. However, I'll probably still find it intresting. images/smilies/smile.gif

Oh, and while I'm at it SIARPC was rubbish last week, why can't Topgear just ditch the segement? They've done most famous people why not keep as a car show rather than a mini-chat show for some unknown celebrities to waffle on about their rubbish car history...

Shut up! I'm sick of people being so critical of this. And we haven't seen any of it. Why can't we just accept what we see and then move on? Why?

And this is our purpose built test track. There are no traffic jams here, well apart from this one and no bus lanes either. This is Top Gear." - Jeremy Clarkson, Season 1, Episode 1.

Woohoo, an RS6 drive - I hope it gets sent around the TG track as well.

Speaking of tracks, I wonder which Evo and STI versions they'll have, the UK versions often seem closer to our official new models (or not at all for some UK only trim levels), rather than what NZ can pickup as a Jap import.
We've followed the Aussies with Scooby specs, 2.5Ltr detuned engines, whereas I understand that the Japan new versions are still using a 2.0Ltr engine with more power, but bad emissions.

Naw, even the challenges would feel stale if they took too much time and there wasn't enough variation. The first season back after the accident had a higher ratio of the 'how hard could it be' challenges with all the stuff recorded before the unfortunate event, and it was a little slow in parts.

The guests can vary in funny power, but they've had some magic people over the years - famous worldwide or not.

BTW - we've had another UK car program showing here in NZ - something called 'Vroom Vroom' - if you want to complain about any part of a *Gear car program, check that out first. I caught one the other day and it was woeful.

Oh oh oh, Adam and Harry!

CLK Black and RS6 should be good. Be interesting what Jeremy thinks of STi vs EVO...

Looks like this one is all about the car reviews. Is the challenge going to be Hammond vs. the extreme skiers? The stars in the reasonably price car need to improve. Bring Lewis Hamilton back to do his dry lap.

CLK Black - Good
RS6 - Good
Fat stunt man - bad
MORE stars in a car - bad
Evo vs STI - Good, its a classic battle

Lets hope the good is good enough to cover the bad.

I will, I'll probably like all the episode apart from the SIARPC but I was just daying my friends probably won't. I'm not saying that it will be rubbish, just saying it won't appeal to the bigger audience i.e. people who watch Topgear for being a comedy show rather than a informative programme.

I am also hating on the new SIARPC format
