I don't know. To me the SRT-10 is a muscle car. The heavy engine is gonna hurt the handling for sure.

True, but the power on the straights can compensate the corners maybe...or it has to be Real hippo in the corners.... images/smilies/rolleyes.gif

Well, we've had a thread on the SRT-10 being on Top Gear a little while ago. Here was my prediction from the thread:

I know my prediction may seem too low, but believe me, the SRT-10 is a very very very fast car. images/smilies/biggrin.gif

It's got the same power as the GT, but probably the handling of the Vette, so I think it should be between them.

The Viper is incredibly light and has a better suspension than the 'Vette. They are the best handling American cars out there. It's going to get into the low 1:20s for sure. I'll guess 1:22.3.

- Wolfgang Bernhard, Chief Operating Officer, Chrysler Group talking about the Dodge Viper SRT-10

... I ask Herb Helbig, vehicle synthesis manager for SRT and a member of the original Team Viper development group since day one, if they'd ever thought of adding traction control. "It comes with two," he says, pointing at my feet. "Learn to use them." Got it.
