My wife has said she's going to have a word with him and get him to let me watch it - she's wonderful and has even let me put my Top Gear Mag cool wall magnets on the family fridge images/smilies/smile.gif

Imagine if Top Gear was produced by the CBC... what a laugh that would be. Their first guest would probably be Peter Mansbridge, followed by Lloyd Robertson the week after.

lol.

Tiff Needell was in Canada (Quebec) before testing the new T-Rex. He didn't even mention that he was testing in Canada! The only way you could tell was with the Quebec plates "Je me souviens"

Well it probably will be one of the best peices of television this summer. Lookin forward to it.
upyourego - be a man. Just talk to your f-i-l & tell him you need to watch 1 hour of tele. You don't need your wife to speak etc. - it's sounds kinda lame to me.

You get minus 85 degrees Farenheit?

I've experienced minus 40 degrees Celcius, and that's about the time when you can throw water into the air, and watch it become snow.

Then again, I did get very drunk and jumped into the snow half naked.

That sounded like a really god idea...8)

Although I have not experienced -40 celcius, doing freeride skiing in -20 is cold enough, but with the right clothes you actually get warm...except from the parts of your face that get so cold you start loosing the feeling in your face. And I had a good laugh as everyone who's been telling my how crappy my freelander is couldn't even get their diesel cars started...so much for German engineeringimages/smilies/burnrubber.gif

Anyway, i think this episode will be fantastic to watch, but even more hilarious if Jeremy were to ride the sled...I would actually pay to see that happening!

Northern Sweden, school trip. Alcohol is pretty common on those trips, normally the teachers are more drunk. Typically for my life, stuff had changed from last year. They always do. When I get to do some fun, some scruff has had the idea of changing something. Still, we got drunk every single night, woke up at 6 o'clock, went into the tracks to try to do slalom skiing. I have to admit, I'm the worst skier alive. Once I get skies on my feet, a suspicious force pulls me to the ground. But I did go down the hills, falling all the time, which is really painful with slalom boots on, mind you, but yeah, god in hell it was cold.

Fun, though. And as for the jumping into snow, it seemed like a good idea at the time.

Nice to see James with Jeremy on a race for once, too. They were great together when they did the Pacific Rimmers.
How do your Huskies handle the heat down in Australia?

That's insane, I had no idea that was filmed in Quebec.

Ironically I actually downloaded/watched that ep when I was in Montreal in December. images/smilies/tongue.gif
