Most of the stuff in the series preview is already covered (we know they lurk here and as usual only reveal stuff they know we already know about) but a few additions from the copy of the mag that dropped through my door this morning:
The Touring Car drivers are back racing again, this time in a variety of vehicles normally only found at large airports. There is only one way that's gonna end and it sure ain't gonna be pretty! Clarkson and May set out to make a VW commercial that is actually interesting. And then present it to the guys at VW's ad agency. Cue much cringing by us on their behalf methinks. Captain Slow goes to America to soil his trousers with the help of Ken Block and an as yet un-named motocross rider. (Ken Block FTMFW!) Expect the same expression on May's face as when he was being driven at trees by Henning Solberg. Power tests confirmed as SL Black, BMW Z4, Focus RS, ZR1, R8 V10, Lotus Evora, Jag XFR and Megane R26R (which I seem to remember from last series Slow was quite a fan of.) Plus the cheap car challenge with cars on a 17 year old's budget is described thus "On TG the needs of the viewers come first, and includes the need of the Daily Mail to get really cross with us at least once a series" Seems TG and FG are united in their hatred of the 'Fail!!!!

Sorry Viper, missed that one. D'oh.
Oh and I forgot to mention that this month's edition comes with a fresh set of Cool Wall fridge magnets, although in all likelihood only for UK buyers, so even if you don't regularly buy the mag it might be worth shelling out for a copy. That's assuming you have a fridge. If you don't then it's £3.95 for the mag and another £100 or so for the fridge. Plus at least £125K for the property to put it in, or £5k for a caravan if you're a bit strapped for cash. But then if you had a caravan you couldn't really put a set of TG Cool Wall magnets in it 'cos that would be like sacriledge or something. Bloody expensive things these fridge magnets. Good job they only come out about once a year or I'd be broke.

As an unrelated point to the new series - MORE COOL WALL MAGNETS!
It has Morgan Aeromax (Hammond's), Oliver and Merc CLK Black (Clarkson's) with it. Also TG Dog.

How about this spoof Volkswagen commercial? Totally wrong on many levels, but still funny.

I think the current TDI Golf commercial isn't half bad. Guy is washing his Prius and the black talking beetle comes on and starts promoting how much better the TDI is, guy starts pretend driving, and then beetle asks what sound his hybrid makes. Whoooooooooooo......... Yes the talking beetle gag is already old but the guy cracks me up.
