Several people are tweeting that the guys are filming at Canary Wharf Station right now. (21-04-2009). So if you read this in time and are in the area, you might want to take an early and extended lunch break and go over there.

I know they said they were cutting down on the expensive stuff but do my eyes deceive me? A Proton Savvy, Skoda Fabia and a Daihatsu Something or other? Sheesh!

So that's a Daewoolet Aveo, a Proton Satria Neo and a Perodua MyVi (=a rebadged Daihatsu Sirion). Actually, I am kinda looking forward to this as it's sort of a first for TG, testing three different small cars in one review.

Someone on Twitter mentioned he saw them drive past in BMW's. Either this person doesn't know his cars or it's all a bit of a joke and the guys switched to expensive cars once they were out of sight of all those poor bankers.

Christ it's worse than I thought - I was sure the non-Proton thing was a Skoda but if not then they really have sunk to new depths. Not so much cocking about as looking like complete cocks in piece of shit domestic appliance cars like that.

Bear in mind that all of the three cars are either Korean or Malaysian (unless you count the Perodua as a Daihatsu, in which case it's Japanese). Maybe they just went out to test how bad Asian cars are :\

)Maybe it's a sort of "Best Cheap-Arse Small Car for City Folk" thing. I suppose there's only one way to find out; but that involves waiting at least two more months.
