You know what, the more I look at the pictures on Leno's site the less sure I am about Jeremy's shirt. They're small, low res, distance shots unfortunately. I think we'll just have to wait. Patience is not a virtue, it's damn difficult!

From the topgear.com/us forum it does appear that it's Leno week 6, or at least, it's implied.

I used to sometimes laugh at how Clarkson looks in coveralls. I will never do this again. Jay looks absurd.

No kidding! I always thought they stuffed Stig's American Cousin's suit, but, judging by this, maybe not. I guess when your wasitband is connected to your shirt, fat gets kind of... shifted?

Also, images/smilies/lol.gif at the dudes behind Jay.

No they, can't, if you're not in the "I like spoilers"-group you can't even see the spoiler subforum now, so no thread titles either. images/smilies/wink.gif

At first, all I noticed was the staggering amount of foundation he was wearing until I caught sight of the two guys next to him. images/smilies/lol.gif

I believe that was me, and that was in part a reference to Harry Enfield's "triple-denim disaster Clarkson" from the "Clarkson Island" sketch.

Still, I'm pretty sure we've seen the actual Clarkson in something similar at some point. Someone will have to dig it up somewhere.

LOL. There's a difference in "at some point" and every day of the week. I think Jay wins the denim-off, not that it's anything to brag about.

Looks like this will be 13x07. From the Radio Times (yes I was bored):

Quote:
Top Gear

Sunday 02 August
8:00pm - 9:00pm
BBC2

Motoring news and views. Jeremy Clarkson and James May are set the task of creating a memorable TV advert for Volkswagen. Despite vowing to work together to deliver a classic piece of advertising, the boys quickly fall out on set. Meanwhile, Richard Hammond looks for an alternative to boring Germanic sports saloons and ends up going mostly sideways in the new Vauxhall VXR8 Bathurst. Plus, the Cool Wall returns, and American chat show legend Jay Leno is the Star in a Reasonably Priced Car.

As reported in another spoiler thread, this is because Lewis Hamilton's planned return to the Liana has been postponed due to the threat of rain.

I don't think the two are related. Typically F1 drivers are supplementary to the SIARPC anyway, and Leno filmed weeks ago.
