Well, the airport racing was there again. Should probably hold my opinion on that one. More things on fire and falling apart. Yup, Top Gear is back, nearly. I'll get kicked for saying this, but that ad isn't as clever as the first two.

So they have a Beta again(apparently Richard is driving it), but what is the car that was on fire? Was it another Beta? Possibly an all-Lancia challenge?

Probably a Murcielago LPover9000 or whatever though.

All I have to say is *yawn* more bus racing oh and I saw a Beta coupe the other day driving along, was surprising.

I hope to see some more serious reviews this season, especially considering Fifth Gear carked it.

Looks to be another great series. I am especially looking forward to that Gallardo Spyder vs. California vs. DBS Volante segment, but I don't think the California fits in there properly (just doesnt match the DBS and Gallardo); I wish the 458 spyder came out early enough for them to film it, but I guess it didn't.

Oh well, I CAN'T WAIT!!!!!

In the bit with RH and JC inside of a car it looked like it was a Stratos, I hope they don't destroy one of those...

Don't they usually switch out the numberplates, though? I remember Jeremy complaining on an earlyearly episode when they took his Merc out on the track without his permission and forgot to switch out the plate.

What's the tunnel with the hatch all about? Going to try and run an Caparo or some other car fast enough to have it drive upside down?

dunno, but the armoured car's wheels seem to support the fact that it's in fact a TVR.

Add to that the fact they were taking it on public roads, so they can't just shove any old numberplate on as a placeholder for the filming.

However I am surprised that it doesn't have a Q plate...
For those not from Britain, a 'Q' registered vehicle is one that has been self constructed, so has had to pass specific tests (more stringent than an MOT) to be allowed on the road. The majority of Q plated cars are kit cars like Caterhams etc.
