It's not 100% confirmed, but while I was reading Nicholas Rufford's article (in place of Jeremy) from The Times he said this about Clarkson: "A few weeks ago he was preparing to drive to the North Pole in a Toyota pickup truck, so maybe he’s there right now, banging into igloos and polar bears." images/smilies/mrgreen.gif

Edit: At the end of the article he says that "The big man will be back next week"

ever think that maybe Rufford was joking or just trying to explain in an exaggerated fashion as to why he was filling in for clarkson?

I wonder if they were filming an upcoming challenge as Hammond has previously mentioned a planned artic challenge.

hi im in resolute bay right this second and richard hammond arrived a few days ago into south camp inn the other guys arrived last night their are 2 toyota 4x4 here that they are using jeremy and the other 1 are going to be in 1 of the 4x4 with a support team in the other 4x4 richard hammond is going to be in the dog sled with a guide called matty mcnair and their racing from resolute to the north pole and if u dont believe me search using matty mcnair her name in the search field and u will find more + if u ask nmicely enough i can send pictures of the 2 cars and richard hammond the cars are customised by a company called arctic trucks on they are toyotas and they say on the side they are hilux 4x4 3.0 d-4d
and i know lots more spoilers i might inform u in time i donno if i should tell u all of the spoilers andthings that are going to happen

And if you don't believe me, search using Matty Mcnair in a search engine and you will find more! Plus, if you ask nicely enough I can send pictures of the 2 cars and of Richard Hammond.
The cars are customized by a company called Arctic Trucks, and they are Toyotas. Also, they say on the side Hilux 4x4 3.0 d-4d.
And I know lots more spoilers that I might inform you in time. I do not know if I should tell you all of the spoilers and things that are going to happen.

For your information, we here at Final Gear really dislike text speak. It is hard to read for someone who speaks English, even more to someone who does not. Thank you!

Thanks for the information, but you might want to get a dictionary and take a literacy class before you give us some more spoilers...
