Default Testing a weird vehicle in Oxford

I don't know exactly what kind of vehicle is that, but it looks like the result of one of those typical "ambitious but rubbish" projects the guys usually do:

I'm fairly sure that's not how you spell Oxford.
Perhaps you've got gravy on the mind?

Also, weird is spelt wierd.

Thought Mini Moke, but it's too new from the plate.

Possibly a pope mobile?

Seriously though, they now attract a crowd of onlookers wherever they do anything. It must have become hugely annoying. And probably also making the job a lot harder to do - how do you film anything in a city when everywhere around you there is a crowd with mobile phone cameras directed at you, constantly trying to get as close as they can?..

The only other clue we have to go on here is that the youtube poster has stated that the car is electric.

It looks like a mini H1 Hummer.

And, yeah it has to be some ambitious-but-rubbish challenge, but wouldn't Jeremy and Richard have different cars if they were competing?

The registration plate on this car (according to insurance website www.comparethemarket.com ) is a TVR Chimera 4.0 convertible!!!!!! If that truly is the case then how they get from a V8 muscle car from Blackpool to that crappy looking POS should be highly entertaining. What the premise will be boggles the mind!

Its in public, they obviously will have to deal with it. Probably why they do moist of the actual review type reviews solely at the track more often now.

I am sure I read something about this being an electric car based on a TVR. 95% sure.

If you had seen that vehicle in your high street, with cameras around and everything, you would not have stopped and looked even if you had no clue who they were or what they were doing?

You can't do crazy stuff in public and not expect a crowd, no matter who you are.

There are tons of out of the way areas if they wanted some privacy. Or filming at off peak times even.
