Are you for real?? I was thinking it was an actual name as well
Blot is just such a funny name - and it's a name my mum used to refer to as 'bum' when I was a little girl. I was having a right laugh about a car called a Blot!

And if James is going to be in this episode, which isnt the first then it really wouldnt make sense for him to leave the show until after this season. Because what would be the point in being in two episodes out of a six show series.

There is no replacement for Captain Slow.
- Wolfgang Bernhard, Chief Operating Officer, Chrysler Group talking about the Top Gear, allegedly. And no, I don't know where all this silly speculation about James leaving the show started either. Given that in his recent blog Wilman stated how amazed they are that it has run this long, and also how hard it is getting coming up with ideas, I reckon if one of them did decide to leave then the whole team would probably call it a day. But I could be wrong - after all John Noakes* left Blue Peter all those years ago and it's still going. *And yes I know he wasn't an original presenter but he did define the show. For those who don't live in the UK you can find out about the longest running children's TV programme in the world at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blue_peter

You can't deny that the GT-R is an absolutely phenomenal car and every race has so far been won by Jeremy in whatever car he uses, (London race don't count). But for once i want to see James and Richard wipe the smug look of Jeremy's face once and for all and beat the car.

From the preview i reckon that one of the episodes will just be all about Japan and part of that episode will be the big race. It will be like episodes with big races in them before:
-Part of the race at the beginning and then continued at the end of the episode. What i aslo think will be thrown in is review of cars that are only in japan, because in the preview video of the new series because at 1:18 and 1:35 you see two unfamiliar cars on japanese numberplates. Not sure about 1:22, it seems like something the japanese would make. So in all the Japanese episode will feature the big race and reviews of japanese cars. |

That's exactly the ones i mean, so one of them will review that super car one, the Mitsuoka Orochi and James seems to be doing what appears to be a chauffeur challenge in the one like a Bentley/Rolls-Royce, the Mitsuoka Galue 204; and the rest of the episode will be the race.
For those of you who are unfamiliar, Mitsuoka are a Japanese motor company that create cars that are supposed to look like British cars of the 50s and 60s. Well that's my theory anyway, it makes sense, if it turns out like that, who knows. Last edited by dragonboy3000; June 23rd, 2008 at 1:28 PM. |
