It's very... Top Gear. Love it. I never really liked the theme they went for in S10...

I completely agree. The idea of the old furniture was funny for a bit, and I know the original set was burned in the fire, but don't fix what isn't broken.

Table looks like it might be a V12 - Possibly an old Jag V12?

The table is definitely on a V-12 engine block; notice the six cylinders visible in that pic. It's probably from a V-12 XJS, considering how 1) relatively plentiful and 2) unreliable they tend to be.

Hey, it could be a straight 6 that's only slanted a bit. images/smilies/rolleyes.gif

My dad said it was a V12, but not sure where the engine is from.

I was pondering that one as well. I think the original grey seats were from an old Vauxhall Senator if I remember correctly. These new ones look 70's or possibly early 80's in style but as to the source......sodomat non sapiens*. They look quite British in style, and given the V12 used in the table I would guess at an old Jag/Daimler saloon.

*In other words I'm buggered if I know!

As I said in the other thread where these were posted, it looks to me like it's off an old Rolls or Bentley, probably from the 70s.

I seem to remember Rollers having those angled headrests in the back... they're angled away from each other, which is unusual.

You're welcome, although it's not originally mine. Come from one of Terry Pratchett's Discworld novels, "Mort". They're worth checking out if you've never read them.

These are Red i know, but there off a Rolls Royce silver cloud, i recognised the headreast immediatly. But if you look at the design of the seat they are simular if not the same:
