You know what's ironic? Not two weeks ago I mailed a letter to 201 Wood Lane saying that the guys should do an episode where they all drive a car in an endurance race! Now I'm sure they planned this out months ago, but I like to think that they care so much about my valuable input, they got the idea together as quickly as possible just to please me!images/smilies/mrgreen.gif I can't wait to see the finished product, I hope they do it as a whole episode like the America trip.

^Sorry, but I knew about this on the 27th June! It wasn't confirmed, but a very obvious hint was given images/smilies/lol.gif

Oh yeah, forgot to mention, I'll probably be there, I'm still torn between either the Britcar 24 or the British F3 and GT championships at Croft. I've done all of F3GT this season so it would be a shame to miss it, but a 24 hour race is always a laugh, plus Silverstone is half the distance Croft is for me!

I'll say hello if I see anyone obviously from FinalGear (not that I know what anyone looks like).

I'm going on Thurs and Sat now having won a competition at Autosport! LOL I get to be guests of one of the class 1 teams who are running an E36 M3 images/smilies/smile.gif Should be a good laugh and will get to sit in the garage images/smilies/smile.gif Will be taking my camera with me so will have to see if I can steal a photo of the Stig out of his helmet. He has to take it off at some point!

Hmmm...i dunno, in a bit of serious question answering, i think it was James that said he didn't take it off for a second during a recording of a "special".

I doubt he'd go for 24 hours without taking his helmet off. He'll probably just escape to some privacy after every stint.

It is quite tempting just to stay in the pitlane, just taking photos of their garage for 24 hours though! images/smilies/lol.gif

Well....I'm fairly sure he'll have to take it off for driver sign on etc as he has to confirm who he is and show his race license. It honestly wouldn't surpise me though if it isn't 'The Stig' if you get me. It's probably just a Britcar regular who they've asked to drive with them. On these press teams they always tend to have at least one professional to try and prevent them from finishing absolutely last.

Here are some photos from todays practice session. I've put them in a spoiler incase people don't want to see the car they're running:

Sadly I didn't have my telephoto on at this point so couldn't get in close enough to try and see under his visor. He's a young guy though probably late 20s early 30s from what I could see. He also DOES talk....

A closeup of the last picture. Look at the concentration on his little face!

And whoever said the TG crew were immature?!

Clarksons Gallado. Only his car would have childish drawings including stick men on the passanger seat on top of a rather tastless tan leather jacket! Seems May never convinced him to get the 'gay' colour in the end!

I have no idea what he must be trying to get at!

WOW! Simply astonishing! This will deserve a whole episode for it's own... Is Larsen's Biscuits something serious or just another joke?

I really like what i've seen. Almost everything in season 10 looks really car related, not just foolin' around with cars (apart from their sailing race)>
