Those are some nice shots, thanks for them, you must be right about the context. images/smilies/smile.gif

Did you stumble upon them or take them yourself?

(Yet another find by the womens of FG)

Stumbled upon them on a forum that you lot all take the piss out of!
The ladies of HH may be silly and obsessed (and some of them are immensely annoying or just plain scary!) but we know what's going on.images/smilies/wink.gif

Incidentally, there are, as far as I am aware, only 3 airworthy 2-seater spitfires in the UK and it looks like TG got them all.

James must have felt like a kid in the middle of a toy store. I can't believe they get paid to do this.

Fantastic photos, thanks!

Apparently since they filmed this the Caroline Grace Spitfire (one of the three) was baddly damaged and is no longer air worthy. images/smilies/cry.gif

Edit:

More info on the accident:
Quote:
Today, on the 7th of June 2008 at the Shuttleworth Collection at Old Warden, the Grace Spitfire suffered a minor taxiing incident. The pilot, Carolyn Grace, was not injured and is absolutely fine.
Whilst taxiing out to display, the Spitfire unexpectedly crossed a patch of soft ground causing it to nose over at low speed. The propellor blades broke upon contact with the ground, and the engine will be tested for shock loading.
The aircraft has been recovered to the hangar and will be inspected by the engineering team.
The aircraft should be serviceable again soon, further updates will be posted.

Yes, I believe this is for the TG vs. D-Motor, but I could be wrong.

(I believe this is how they arrived to the shoot.)

Good find!

And James won't leave, it'll spoil the weird atmosphere between the 3 guys if one leaves
