Must have been part of a challenge - most outlandish thing you can carry?
Certainly it's common place in Vietnam and Cambodia to see all sorts of thing on the back of tiny bikes - I saw furniture, livestock, haystacks and whole families being carried.

Ah sorry - thought it was a language thing. The pigs were in baskets - kind of panniers on the back. Yhe goats were in a big crate and we also saw a little child clutching two piglets while clinging on to his mother!
