Top Gear plan Belfast Italian job

A spokesperson for the BBC show said presenters Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May hoped to film the race through the city's new six-mile sewer network in the coming weeks.

In past shows, the three have raced to the North Pole, driven across the African continent and sailed cars across the English Channel, however, it is the first time they have raced underground.......

So exactly what will they be filming this for? MPH? A one-off special?
They'll have only just wrapped this season the first week of August.

Series 14 will be seven weeks like this one is. There isn't a start date for it yet.

But more than likely it will be 7 weeks worth of shows

my guess is new series starts November 8th which is the final London date of MPH 2009. thats how it was done last year. and this would probably be a season opener or closer.so November 8th or December 20th/27th is the date this should hit tv.

Wow, so they were there already? I'm thinking this is for another TG segment entirely or for Clarkson's upcoming video. I mean, news of the "Belfast Job" popped up on the 22nd (and one of the articles says they'll be there in September), those pics are from the 24th...

It could be a different segment if they're using that Renault Twingo and then later use Minis for another segment while there.

A local Radio Station (Cool FM) reported this morning that Clarkson and Hammond are here... Jezza has been spotted around Belfast in a DBS...

And Hammonds in Portrush filiming - tourists spotted him being filmed pushing a Morrison's trolley over the Carrick-a-rede rope bridge.
