Audience Share: 26%
Audience Appreciation: 84

35 - 44: 22%
45 - 54: 16%
55 - 64: 10%

Not as high as last week but still fantastic for a BBC TWO show. It was only just beaten in its time slot by Wild At Heart on ITV1. In fact it was so close that for most of the time slot the two shows where neck and neck and at one point Top Gear was ahead.

It was the fifth most watched show of the evening.

Coronation Street - 10.2 million (ITV1)
Emmerdale - 7.5 million (ITV1)
Waking the Dead - 7.2 million (BBC ONE)
Wild at Heart - 7.1 million (ITV1)
Top Gear - 6.8 million (BBC TWO)

10 mil watch corra? that soap is such aload of gash its unbelievable. all the women are tramps and the guys are denser than dark matter.

emmerdale is exactly the same only its abit more pompus and in the country side.

yet my mother thinks they are the best thing since sliced bread.

I've been watching the ratings since the start of this series of Top Gear and I haven't seen Corrie go below 9 million yet - every night of the week it's on it is the top rated show. Weird.

A word of warning for Neighbours fans... Even though it is shit, It gets really shit!!

Speaking of Neighbours (although I'm not sure why) on Friday the first showing got 2.8 million viewers and an incredible 42% audience share and on the second showing it got 2.9 million (18% share - more people watching TV at that time).

Good ratings, IMO I think the viewers will be feeling slightly under-whelmed by the second episode and we might see a slight slide for next week, although depends on how the media exposure goes for the enivatable American bashing, which should be fun

As for Neighbours, I'm not suprised about the figures as most students I know watch it images/smilies/biggrin.gif

It's bascially a less depressing version of Eastenders, Corry and Emerdale images/smilies/smile.gif

I also watched it but form the netherlands...it's on normal tv...not satelite or paytv...count's my tv too...or is it just the viewers in the uk?

The ratings come from viewers in the UK who have a special BARB box attached to their TV to monitor their viewing.

It's not a bad thing for models, but stupid actors are really annoying, especially the stupid over acting soap actors. Neighbours is a piece of shit, it was a complete failure in AUSTARLIA!
