I would like to welcome everyone to this thread and especially mr. Andy Wilman.
It is obvious by now and if someone is not sure who mr. Andy Wilman is, go check out this link: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Andy_Wilman that Andy is checking our forum quite regularly and is spying on our community. Well I thought that if we can handle this situation on a professional level, maybe we create a thread with suggestions/criticisms of TopGear and put an end to mr. Andy spying on us and perhaps joining our community. To be fair this community would have never existed if it wasn't for Andy's brilliant work (+kudos to the rest of TG crew). Now, I know those kind of threads start to go terribly wrong but as far as I have noticed, TG fans are very loyal and very understanding so there is a hope this one will succeed. I think if anyone has a suggestion or some criticism of TG, should come down here and write it up. However, criticism is something that have some basis on it. So plz, dont write stuff like: "Why did Jezza's hair looked like that!?" or "Where is Top Gear dog?" or "why there is only six episodes instead of 50?" or " "why do we see so little of James?" or "Why does TG bash Americans so much?" etc. etc. If u have some criticism, plz back it up and dont just write some stupid stuff in. The same goes for suggestions. Dont write sutff like: "I want to see 50 veyrons doing the power lap or else I wont watch the show!!" or "U should put James and Jeremy on an airplane and see whos funnier" or "There is too little cars, I want TG to be exactly like FG" no that doenst work, there already is one FG. Ufff, I think thats about it, feel free to post your opinions up but be understandable and logical at the same time. I m gonna start with my stuff: First, some criticism: - Bring the old cinematographers back The 8th season was about as good as it can get. Beautiful and interesting camera angles with great editing. Now all there is in 11 season is a heli shot and camera in the rangeRover. Come on Andy, its not like u cant keep the quality up. We know u can, u ve proved it to us already. Trust me, spending less money on cinematographers is a no no.- Second thing is the scripting. Now I know and we all can see that u are trying to hide this as much as possible but why!? it just wont work and u will end up frustrated for thinking over several hours to satisfy some users. Viewing figures show for them self, 9th season was great!! Yes it was scripted but it was funny as hell!! GroundForce was also FUCKING amazing!! Trust me, spending hours every day to try to hide scripting is not gonna work but using that time to bring an extra 5 min of quality comedy with characters like James and Jeremy will bring u more fans!! Just believe in yourself, u ve done it before and no one else can do it but you. Thats is from my side. I know there will be lots of negative stuff agains the SIRPC (I personally like it)Just remember to post quality posts and dont spam about something that just isnt even logical.

I kind of am against personal "direct contact" type threads like this... but that is just me. You have a fair opinion TGM, so I'm not bashing or anything.
I personally kinda agree with JamesD that it might scare the poor bugger away hehe.

![]() ... but I think that keeping it on a pro level and not just spamming this thread with love notes, maybe he can appreciate it. I dont even hope that Andy will respond here on finalgear but if he wants to know our opinions ( and we can obviously see that he does), at least we can put in one thread that he can look at whenever he feels like it.
