Well I have my test drive booked and I'm ready to go!

I'd like solid figures on the price...but at this stage I WANT ONE!!! images/smilies/tongue.gif

The comparison between the Vantage and the 911 that was in the times last week said that it would be 79-80,000 pounds. That is okay I guess.

I need to come up with money fast if I'm going to place an order for one! Maybe I should cash in on some stocks before the year is over! images/smilies/lol.gif
I should really book a test drive before I jump on it though. It's a lot of money to be spending blindly on a car.

How bad good it be. images/smilies/lol.gif If you're actually gonna drive that I'm so jealous. I just hope they didn't ruin the suspension for us Americans.

I hope that they will 'ruin' it because if they do that it'll be no means of a sports car, besides, jeremy said that it is firm, the shots from the ring says the same.

Now you just made me more miserable, thinking that if I had the money I could be driving it. But I don't... images/smilies/tongue.gif

Yeah, I want it even more after seeing that movie (thanks again for the upload).

Although I was slighly put off by the review in The Times last Sunday. They guy said it was for real drivers only and has some problem, although you forget these when you are driving flat out. He also said that it is tough to change gear in and rather unforgiving....although he had a manual gearbox, I would have an auto (I can't actually drive manual very well. images/smilies/cry.gif ).

And what would he choose an automatic or a manual?
"Which would I prefer? Well I've got both. It depends what sort of car. I'd never want a manual Jag or a Bentley, but I wouldn't want a Tiptronic Porsche."

I think AM V8 is more similar to a Porsche than to a Bentley. Automatic just doesn't seem right in such a sporty car.

I'd be more than happy to come to England and teach you how to change gears in your new AM V8 images/smilies/lol.gif

I presume it will come with a semi-auto paddle gearbox. So it drives in automatic until you hit the paddles. Basically I have trouble with the clutch, but if it is clutchless shift I am fine.

I should point out that I can drive manual....just not very well or very fast (as I have to think about every shift I make), I just prefer auto. I could drive a manual if I had to.

BTW, if you ever come to Slovenia again, let me know ... Dvor isn't bad, but it's far from being the best in town 8) I'll show you where the locals eat.
