Heh, I like the video, I never signed the petition because if Jeremy was PM, he wouldn't have time for TopGear making. images/smilies/smile.gif

I've just read my email and watched the vid. That's probably the first and last time the government will make me laugh.

I mean, running an entire country? How hard can it be??

The Four Minute Warning goes off as we realise half the world has launched nukes against us. Cue programme break all channels to a statement from Number 10.......

I'm still disappointed though. But then again, petitions rarely work.

That was quite an interesting response...especially from the british government. I was thinking it would just be ignored.

That just made me laugh hard images/smilies/smile.gif

I was actually quite surprised by the whole thing. As mentioned above, this kind of stuff is usually ignored. A response in itself is unusual, a response in a form of a YouTube video is even more unusual, and a funny video response from the government on Youtube in this case is just hilarious images/smilies/smile.gif

Correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't the Queen have the authority to appoint anybody as Prime Minister? Perhaps we should have been petitioning Her Majesty rather than Number 10.

I know, I know... its been traditional for a very long time to appoint the leader of the party with a majority in the House of Commons as the PM. But maybe its time for that end.

That's not a painful mistake, that's simply deliciious irony.
