Honestly ... no. I love dogs, but Top Gear dog was just apathetic and boring. My apologies to Richard Hammond, since I think it is his. I think they should either have got a small cheeky one that barks at everything and everyone or a big one that jumps up on people and licks everyones face.

Dogs and speeding cars don't really mix, do they?
I think it would be cool to be a dog called Top Gear Dog though.

Yes, but the poor thing was scared so I understand the decision to retire her.

I thought she appeared extremely laid back.
Almost catatonic. ![]() Nice dog, though. I miss her.

I'm generally frightened of dogs, so I'll say I don't miss TG Dog.

well, maybe she was perfectly ambitious to be top gear dog, but absolutely rubbish when it came to having a good tv face.

I remember the dog from just one episode, maybe two with fuzzy memory. There's nothing to miss, because the cute pooch never really was a part of TG, sorry.

Yeah! Why not?
It provided randomness to the program and the challenges. If I had to choose beteween Top Gear Dog and Top Gear Stuntman: Top Gear Dog > Top Gear Stuntman |

No. It was an amusing thing, but hardly a key part of the show.

As they mentioned in an early episode, dogs understeer ..... Top Gear Dog was never going to cut it in that company.
![]() In the interest of balance, I would like to see Top Gear Cat .... usually found sleeping on Jeremy's chair or cheat notes during the news segment and occaisionally used to determine which is the most comfortable car bonnet to sleep on.

I swear we've had an identical thread to this, but I can't be bothered to look for it so I'll play along nicely.
![]() Don't really miss TG because I know she's having much more fun living with Richard.

Did like her in the caravan episode, though ("oh, you poor dog!"). Didn't know she was Hammond's.

don't really miss Top Gear Dog but i do remember when they got her some goggles and in the caravan episode where hammond got dragged into that womans tent with TG on the lead.
i honestly wouldn't mind if they brought TG back, but only if they had it trained to eat the nether regions of the Daily Mail staff. "don't like Top Gear huh? TG, sic balls!"

She was convenient when they needed to show the boot space of an MPV/SUV, but the bike worked just as well, I thought.
So no, I don't miss her, but I am glad to know she's doing well. |
