| JC once said of his audience "obviously you haven't got wives or girlfriends so you've brought your sisters along.....". Now I don't believe that for a minute and I'm sure that in fact most TG fans are in loving, stable relationships, but what does your other half think about your love of the show? Are they understanding/patronising/in total agreement or do they use that hour on a Sunday to have a long soak in the bath with a good book? For me? Well.... Some say she can tell what a celebrity's lap time will be before they are even introduced, and that if it were her husband who stuffed a jet car on an airfield in Yorkshire she'd have put a pillow over his face in the ICU and collected on the insurance! All I know is she's called Mrs Hersworksfinetoo!

Rep Power: 11 ![]() ![]() | My girlfriend enjoys watching Top Gear as much as I do ![]() She's not as into cars as me obviously, but she finds the show entertaining and makes sure to catch it each week. |

| She enjoys the show for its entertainment value (humor) and likes cars (she drives an RX8), but she's not NEARLY as obsessed with cars as I am (her RX8 is an automatic).

| VIP | My wife will watch Top Gear with me if she likes the Stars in a Reasonably Priced Car or if they're doing some silly stunt - she's looking forward to the Fox Hunting episode but couldn't care less about tonight's one. However my kids love it - 7 year old girl and 4 year old boy. The three of us sit on the sofa on a Sunday night watching Top Gear - daughter loves the humour and stunts - son loves the fast cars. My wife sits on the computer occasionally laughing when she hears/sees something funny. |

The best bit is that my 18 month old son is also a fan, and he keeps pointing at the cars and saying 'car'. Unless, of course, there is something really cool - like a DB9 - then he'll say 'cool!'. I'm trying to teach him to say 'Stig'. ![]()

| Global Moderator | Mrs. Adu likes the show, but she's not nearly as obsessed with it as me. She does have an account here, but hasn't really used it lately, with the stress that is a 2 month old daugter ![]() |

She is in the dilemma that she pretty much hates car shows and everything about cars except getting from A to B, but she loves the guys cocking about. So she's stuck between ultimate boredom and pure excitement when we watch TG.

Rep Power: 35 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | My bf does not like it. He just doesn't get british humor I guess. And he doesn't understand the cool wall. He thinks James is dim witted. Jeremy to bossy, and Richard just fluff. The challenges are boring. In short he is just plain nuts. But he will sit with me while I watch and let me talk about it all night without one time telling me to shut up. Because he knows when I am happy, he is happy. ![]()
