James May: Exclusive: James May talks to me about FinalGear!!!!

Well guys, I was just driving up into my local village this morning, and around the corner from my house, I saw James May and Oz Clarke!

I got my camera out straight away and thought I was filming, then realised I wasn't, so I started "interviewing" and caught everything you guys wanted to know!

Let me just add, Top Gear is 100% back in the 3rd week of October.
He also told me that he was on FinalGear this morning before he drove up to Standish, near Wigan from Yorkshire.

Also, note in the video that I put the camera down and start having a conversation with Oz, sorry about this, did not want to have the camera shoved in their faces. Also, the pleb who came and started talking to James mid way through is nothing to do with me lol.

According to James, he has seen the FinalGear helmet in the office.
I also say, see you at series 11 instead of series 12! woops, slight mess up images/smilies/smile.gif

James: Hello FinalGear, I’m not leaving, and I haven’t had quite such a big pay rise as some people imagine

Me: And you do use it? And you do go on FinalGear?

James: And I do go on FinalGear occasionally yes and we do appreciate your criticisms and feedback....and we do take notice of it

*At this point some guy starts telling James about how much he, his wife and child love Top Gear, most of which can be heard clearly with the human ear, I’ll move onto after when James and Oz are stood together*

Me: What so, have you just driven up here now, straight from.....

Oz: We’ve come over from Yorkshire

Me: Oh have you....

Oz: I’ve forgotten where we were.......errm somewhere near Leeds.......and they we’ve been down over Leventhorpe near Castleford and then come over to see what Wigan’s got to offer.

Me: Where are you off from here then?

Oz: We’re then going back to.....up into The Penines, We’re going back to......(*Can’t make out what he says*), Bradford..Bradfooorrd......out onto the peaks at Tannehill..(*Can’t make out what he says here either, sorry images/smilies/sad.gif

Me: Yeah I don’t blame you to be honest

James: He’s eating his screwdriver again

Oz :I know, It’s a bad sign when the soundman needs his screwdriver, it means he’s worried

Me: Well, I’d better leave you to it...

Oz: Okay

Me: It’s been nice meeting you

James: And you

Me: I’ll probably see you at series 11 (*I meant 12 images/smilies/tongue.gif

It's on its way, Youtube is just loading half of the video then "Page Cannot be Displayed" is coming up, I've had this problem before...

did you ask them whether it was ok for them if you put the video on youtube?

If not, I think it would be better to just write the conversation down.

Thanks for the feedback guys, but how much luckier can I get? Been to Top Gear 3 times, spoke to all 3 of them, received an email off Hammond, interviewed James May in person. I'll try and get Clarkson round for tea next images/smilies/tongue.gif
