RobyBobey. Please can I ask when the transcript of yesterdays meeting with James will be up for reading.

It's quite a coupe meeting James. You did extremely well. Don't know anything at all about cars, but would be a willing student if James ever gave lessons on the subject, perhaps a sideline for you James images/smilies/thumbsup.gif images/smilies/whistling.gif images/smilies/love.gif

Ya know, I have been thinking robybobey. You are a Top Gear Magnet. You should go ahead and start planning for when Clarkson (or one of the others) comes to tea.

Don't be astonished Robeybobey, James is such a nice guy that people are interested in what he is doing, it's a natural niceness to, not false. images/smilies/smile.gif

Fantastic Roby. Do you know if James visited today? Would imagine he was probably too busy as he's been up in Richmond.

I wait with the same anticipation for new Top Gear, as for new Oz and James wine adventures.. it's hilarious.
Wine tv-shows very always boring, and (as James said) pounsy. Normal people couldn't watch it! James proved, that he could make interesting show even if it's about..um.. lawn mowing

I would love to watch a show about mowing lawns if James presented it, or even one about sheds. If radio 1 can do it...

I have never cared for wine and am bored to death having to listen to wine pounces, but with the addition of James, I found myself really interested and have actually learned some things. (much to my surprise)

That's the thing, so many "informational" shows (on wine, cars, whatever) take the Fifth Gear approach, where it feels like segments are filmed by a checklist. The TG approach of actually having fun with what you know is so much better, especially for getting new people interested. Incidentally, I've found myself going to wine tastings and being more of a ponce (not pounce images/smilies/tongue.gif) thanks to O&J BWA, but when I describe wine, I (like to think that I) sound much more like James than Oz.
