Greetings Top Gear Nuts

Hi All,

I've been a some time lurker on these forums. My Top Gear following has been even longer. I have watched all the episodes since this new format has started and even watched some of the old format topgear episodes.

Like many of you I am waiting for tickets and have signed up. For me getting to Dunsfold aerodrome is not a problem, if I had the tickets I will go there in a flash. Infact I have already been down there on my last visit to the UK last gear when they held the annual Wings and Wheels show. Although not a Top Gear airing and none of the stars were there, it was still a great feeling going to the top gear base and seeing the track first hand and the jumbo thats displayed towards the last part of the track.

I guess first and foremost though I am a car enthusiast, so I feel strongly that as well as the cocking about which adds good humour, the show should remain firmly on cars as a first priority. The ability of those 3 presenters to comment on the cars like as if you are driving them is what makes the show so appealing.

What's the TG test track like? Are the lines all marked out? Is it really short. Seems to be. If a F1 car can go round in under a minute.
