You guys do realize common bullets travel at speeds between 180m/s and 1500 m/s, right?

Not to mention that gravity works on bullets completely normally. Even if the bullet were fired exactly next to the car, and those inside were able to focus on it, it would appear to them to be falling straight downward at the same speed as if someone dropped it while standing still.

Optimus has it right. The bullet, if fired from about 4 feet up would fall the ground in about a second.
