Default I Know Who TG Stuntman is

while rewatching season 11 of TG, i noticed the stuntman's jacket, saying "The Living Daylights"

that's a Bond Film, than i read this article - http://forums.finalgear.com/top-gear...ut-then-29069/

where Richard Porter says, "the fact that he once drove a police car into a flower stall on an episode of Dempsey & Makepeace."

so i went on IMDB, found the The Living Daylights page, looked under stuntmen, and the first person Roy Alon came up, and if you look in his resume of stuff he did Dempsey & Makepeace pops up

look for yourself - http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0093428/fullcredits

http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0022076/

so now i know, cool images/smilies/mrgreen.gif

Nice find! He's a proper stuntman then if what you've found is correct. And he's worked on Max & Paddy's Road To Nowhere. That show was great (Peter Kay was in it) images/smilies/biggrin.gif

So Top Gear Stuntman is a zombie? Well that explains a lot.

So now that we know who TopGear Stuntman is, can we start working on finding out why TopGear Stuntman is?

That's a good point. I didn't much care for the stuntman segments, they seemed like an afterthought, they were just too short.

great point. I still see no reason for him being on the show, maybe if one of their stunts would work for a change, but maybe thats just the thing, he's not supposed to images/smilies/lol.gif

Bingo - though if they persist with him in the next series I'm sure they'll make the segment work better, but even so I'm not convinced the show needs two mystery characters.

Couldn't agree more, 'though technically TGSM wasn't a mystery character given his real name appeared in the credits. But then "The Stig" is apparently his real name so........images/smilies/wacko.gif
