Isn't it past time for a new Power Lap Board?

It is mightly clogged now. I don't think they'll do it, but I would like to see the Veyron go round the track with the best time and thus retire the old times and start anew. I just think the board now has outlived its purpose.

Bring on a new board....even if at the same track.

Perhaps a POWER lap board... with electric motors that's like an upright conveyor belt...

What a terrible idea... but noone really cares what's at the bottom anyway, so it's just as well on the back.

I kind of like the idea of a mechanical board. It fits with the attitude of the show and the Stig turning off all the traction control devices on whatever it drives. For some reason an LCD display like Fifth Gear does not fit for Top Gear, especially surrounded by displays featuring lumps of twisted metal like the Hilux.

I think a vertical conveyor would do nicely.

Yeah, or discard all cars from the lower half, no-one ever mentions them anyway.

I think they should start a system so that when a car is taken out of production, it leaves the board. It would clear the board out a bit.

Of course they would have to keep the complete board up on the website so we can still see how things like the the Ferrari 360CS and 550 did "back in their day."

I don't think it's a problem. Personally I'd like to see older cars go round the lap. Stuff like the McLaren F1, F40, Diablo, 355.. would be cool. images/smilies/smile.gif

yes id like to see older style cars go around, u know see how cars have improved since back in the day. I know they did the new vs old thing awhile back but still.
